I spent some time messing around with the various settings, getting the lists to display as I wanted - this worked fine and was easy and intuitive. However, none of the links actually worked - all of them took me to a 404 error page. I searched the forum and found the solution was to change the menu and pathway behaviour and after some trial and error bingo it worked.
It's a nice extension, but I found that bit annoying. The tool tip over this section on the admin page is hard to understand.

Great component, just what I was looking for to create a sort of A-Z content list of a site. Installation and configuration are very easy... everything is well documented. Works out of the box.

SectionEX was the component I have been looking for, to list my Joomla! articles in a professional way.
SectionEX does that, it gives a great listing of Joomla! articles, and can be set to show on many different ways with great clarity for the front-end user.
The component is very easy to set up and works great!
I think that the opportunity to add an edit link in SectionEX article listing, so users can edit their own articles will bring this component to the perfect end.
That would be awesome. ;)
The team has promises to see what they can do about that. So I'm looking forward to see future versions for SectionEX.

This extension has transformed the appearance of my site. I downloaded the free version first and thought it was so good I wanted to pay for it. The paid version is really smooth. I found it easy to configure to show exactly what I wanted. Thank you for a really excellent component.

This issue is resolved in the latest release 1.6.7.
This add-on gives article listing everything Joomla don't have!
There is only thing batter then this add-on is the support for it! You guys are fast as light. Ultra fast, ultra pro. 5+ stars goes to Your team!

I had a problem with sectionex plugin for Artio Jomsef, but the support team helped me really quickly. I think it is one of the best component for joomla for free. Really good work! Thank you once again.

This is a very good and useful component. Joomla is missing a way to display a list layout for sections. The component was easy to install.
I mainly used it because i needed a way to filter/search articles from the category list layout but i needed to search within the content as well not only the titles.
After installing it i was very happy with all the additional options and features.
Will use it again.

The only feature that I miss here is 'go to category' link right under the articles. I know that there are links to each category on the top of the page but I would really like to have each link beneath the articles aswell. Otherwise... GREAT PLUGIN !!
