After getting one response on their forums asking for more information, I e-mailed them screenshots and information about the problem.

It's been two weeks, and I've even replied to the forum posting further and received no more replies or help with the program I was having. Publicly it looks like they were interested, but in reality? They made no real effort to try and assist with the problem.

Be advised that you can't seem to limit the width of the module by percent, only a fixed amount which is terrible if you're trying to code your site to scale to different screen widths. When you put in a percent it just seems to ignore it and expand the module off the side of the page/screen

when I upgraded my joomla to 2.5 and my place here mod stopped working I wanted to find another mod to replace it with .. and this does the job perfectly.

just one suggestion I'd like to give the developer.

when you choose to display articles and type in the articles. I'd like to Order the articles as I have ordered in the list article IDs field not to sort it by assending dates or any other filter you have there.

but all in all a great module.
Thank you !!

I just found this and I love it, the fact that it is free is even better.
The other free extentions to go with this is a bonus too.

Great Job.

this is one of the best extension.. it has everything, almost all the features.. the interface is beautiful and amazing but there is ONE MAJOR WEAKNESS.. it is, difficulty in selecting categories because i have more than 1000+ categories in my site, so selecting it 1 by 1, is a painful and waste of time.. plus, it makes the entire admin area ugly because everything is getting too long to the bottom because of the category selection.. please give us option to choose the category using the default joomla view because for those who had small site with few categories it will be no problem at all but for sites like mine, it has more than 1000+ categories, it is really difficult to select the category 1 by 1 and all the time have to repeat from above.. please solve this problem and im sure your extension will be more successful..

Haven't found a flaw. CSS is so easy to adjust. After looking and trying so many other sliders, this one is EXACTLY what I needed. No jquery conflicts. Can handle multiple instances on one page no problem. So all in all.. it's pretty close to perfect. I will now be a fan of anything bowthemes releases.

I have installed the module on J1.7 website without any trouble, then I left the default settings and published module on the website. After page refresh I saw just blank page nothing else and started to find out where the problem could be. The reason was that I have no categories created in Joomla, which was in conflict with the module deafult settings (Source from: Joomla categories). More likely this info is cotained in documentation, but I have n't read it before. In conclusion is BT Content Slider great module. Works well a has logical and nice designed backend. Great for my purpose of 5-columns sliding blog.

I installed BT Content Slider on my website and it works perfectly to display both Joomla! articles and K2 content items. I however also wanted to display my categories in a similar fashion so I started digging into the code to see how I could achieve that. I must say that the code is very clean and easy to understand. It does make appropriate use of the MVC model and Joomla! classes and methods. Great module.

K2 so far only has reliable Modules that correctly work in Joomla 1.7.

This module is the best. All the features work as described and it is very neat. I appreciate your effort in developing this module.

My wish list.
(1)Add an option not to scroll items.
(2)Please add a donate button somewhere on the Admins end.

Is there any way to reduce the space between the listed items? and
I would like to have the link colors match my template colors.

Thank you for this module. It's the best.
