THis simply doesnt work in IE7 or IE8 without a lot of hacking, much of which is guess work. If you got to the forums at rocketheme you will see dozens of posts relating to problems using is in IE7 & IE8. Some get resolved, but it would appear that even if a resolution is reached for one user another user who has "apparently identical issue" will not be able to use the same fix.
Given IE has over 65% of browser market, designers etc just cannot afford to write that many people off. IF I were judging this extension PURELY for its use in Firefox, chrome etc it would easily be a 4.
I have been a member of rocketheme for a year or 2 now. Until past month or so I would have recommnded the site to anyone without thinking about it. Now I am not so sure. THe problem with this extension seems to be indemic of the problems at rocketheme now. IMHO they have grown to big, far too quickly. When they stuck to Joomla templates and extensions they were very good. The product was very good and the support was even better. But since moving onto wordpress etc etc problems are going unanswered or unresolved with incrasing regularityand the problems seem to be mounting. Many members I know feel the same way.
The guys at Rocketheme are great and there service WAS great. I hold onto the hope that they have not over reached themselves and can still turn it around. My fingers and toes are crossed.
