Editor's Note
  • This extension requires registration to download.
ENGLISH:

UPDATE
- Now with optional german date format (if language german is set as default for frontpage) - otherwise english format.

UPDATE
- Updated module and component
- Now you can define a single section, sections delimited by semi colon, or leave blank for all sections
- Component and module are now Joomla native mode
- Bug solved (not skipping back to current day if another day has been selected)

--------------------------------
Basic is the Extension BlogCal-J1.5 Module - we modified the module and added a component to make it suitable for our needs.

Main Modifications:
Events can be a period of time or a single Date (taken from Content "Start" and "End" publishing Date) and are visible as "Event" in the calendar.
There can be multiple events( articles) with the same date.
If you click in the calendar a date you can see all events/articles which are valid (and not expired) at this date.

Show content from sections as Events.

Special Feature of this Extension:
Content is linked in calendar depending on the "start publishing" and "end publishing" date from your content !

Other calendars are looking at "publishing date" - this extensions takes care of the time period between start and end publishing date !

The active Events/Articles are listed in BLOG-Layout.
There is a separate component included which is used only for the Event-Listing which is different from the Joomla content view.

Install Component, intall Module, define a single section in the module (or all sections) and that`s it.
You should now define articles for the specific section and give them a guilty Start and End publishing value.

UPDATE !

An sonsten englisch.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Not correct!
The component works in a Legacy mode only!
The module cannot handle it SEF system (no default SEF, sh404sef, artiosef)!
Test two displayed one double at a date article equally on my side.
Not fair!
