Simple, easy, clean and free. Just everything you need from news module. And it's working perfectly with K2. I didn't saw better one yet.

I searched for simple front page news slider and this extension mainly satisfies my expectations.

Extension as itself looks very customizable. I use it with Joomla 3.2 and protostar template to display my five latest news from news category (native Joomla articles with only intro-text + pic).

The only really harmful minus I found that links in intro-text are shown as plain text paths and are not clickable. I tried to configure that but with no effect.

I like this extension because of ability to use my general CSS and customize transitions. I tested it with Android phone (4.1.2) and it works as well.

After all I can recommend this extension but that link issue is really
irritating. If you not have links in Joomla article this extension can be for you.

Hi, if you don't want plain text then you have to consider no text limit. But if you want text limit and html output together then its not possible by our extension or any other extension arround the world.

The free extension does not work with K2 (it works with standard Joomla).
Nor the previous versions. I think they must state that thing clearly. They are saying it works with K2 but not in what conditions. Spent a lot of time to figure this out.

This module works perfectly with K2 from the beginning.
