that the scrolling text is jumpy sometimes.
I looks like the module has to reload. Is there a way to overcome that?

Beside that, it was just what I was looking for: Displaying a vertical scrolling list of names.

I was asked to quickly provide a scrolling list of names and anniversaries in the left column of a joomla site.
