Please Note: In default configuration the maximum working width of this ticker module is 560 pixel. If you wish to use this ticker with bigger width, then make sure to set the "Background Transparency" to "100" in the module parameter.

This is a free extension. The features are:
- Customizable width and height of the ticker.
- Customizable color. From admin section you can able to change the color theme very easily. Everything like font color, background color, button color, all are customizable.
You can also able to manage the ticker scrolling speed and the arrow speed.
- You can add 1 to 50 items into it.
- You can choose the items will display serially or randomly.

Nice work. Easy to install and configure on 2.5.6 and the results are polished and professional. If only I could get the damned thing to scroll! :-)

At last...I found a scroller that would install into a breadcrumb position and is really simple to edit. Didn't find out that you have to have several items to make it scroll, otherwise it will be static. Not sure why, but i get a black flash where the scroller is while my site loads up. Need to look into that. But apart from that, really happy so far.
I have two browsers side-by-side. The scroller/ticker runs with Firefox, but is just stationary with Internet Explorer 8. So if your users is using IE8, this module doesn't work.
I also wanted to have the ticker running the entire length of my webpage. However, if you adjust the "Ticker Width" to more than 518 pixels, the ticker stops scrolling. 518 pixels is just half the span of a webpage.
In the "Add Ticker/Scroller Items", if you skip one item, the ticker gets broken and stops scrolling.
The various options available like changing font colors, speed, and opacity, are nice.
However, it would have been much nicer if you can just select items from your Section or Category to scroll. Instead of typing them manually by hand. If you are planning to use this as a scroller for your latest news, it will eventually become too tiring, as you have to cut-and-paste the news on the item list one-by-one all the time.

- The module is fully working in IE8. Please review our demo link in Internet Explorer 8. You can see it is working properly.
- Yes, the maximum width of the ticker is 518 pixel.

This is a great extension. I was wondering if it's possible to also customize the font itself (possibly have the option to chose between a few webfonts), size, weight... That would make it perfect.
