SP newshighlighter Module

Shaper News Highlighter is a free Joomla native Title ticker Module which allows you to display your latest news title in in different mootools effect like fading, scrolling and many more. It is similar to Google Ads titles you've seen on Gmail. The duration and delay time can be set in back-end as well as other control parameters.

I have had a great deal of trouble finding a news ticker that works with K2 and this one does and it does it very well! I am using Joomla 2.5.4 with no issues.

Looks like a great mod, shame it doesn't work with J1.7.

Similar to numerous other users, this module only displays a single article for J1.7. and unfortunately that article is not always the latest so there are some flaws with this module that need to be addressed.

This does just about all I want and has many options but it dose not appear to have an option to increase the font size. Requests in the forum have gone unanswered.

This is a great free news ticker. Installed and deployed within 5 minutes.

I like the simplicity of this extension but also it has just the right level of customisation to make it fit right into the site.

With both horizontal and vertical slides, a flexible content width, word limits, colour customisation and category selection, it's a great all rounder.

I like it and would use in any of my sites from now on.
