Install
1- Install plugin "searchArticlebymonth.zip" and active it
2- Install module "articlebymonths.zip" and active it in the position who do you want. Remember "Menu Assignment" and num of month configuration.
3- Unzip "Template-com_search.zip" and copy in template folder. (OPTIONAL)
THIS IS NOT A MODULE ONLY, YOU MUST DOWNLOAD THE WHOLE PACKAGE, component and all plugins. 1st of all their is spacing issues with different aspects, u must use their TITLE, if you use the default Joomla..it creates two overlapping, spacing is a disgrace. Then if you choose those - it defaults the Title and main month to a iJoomla page. Unless you change it in the module. Another thing it shows you the article on the month it was published not created. Simply Horrible and I uninstalled it.
When I used this, I was hoping it would show content by month in a list, instead it shows it in a blog like fasion which might be great for some, but I usually have big articles, and in the future may have many in a single month which if it showed all the content of a sinlge month in one page, then it would be one really big page and things would be hard to browse. But as I said, for those who want to display all the content of a month in one page, then this is the extension for you.

I made an account to just review this module. I've been looking for a module like this for a long time. All the other modules I've tried require that your articles be archived in order to work, but thankfully that's not the case here.
I only suggest that in addition to the available sort by category option, that the option to sort by section is also added.
