Great mod, except I'm encountering an issue in IE8 only. It seems it is not able to animate opacity, so it simply jumps to the next content, skipping the animation.
Has anyone encountered this problem and found a solution?

I am brand new to Joomla and what a learning curving! However I installed and have 4 map pics rotating each with a new layer of information, so the final image is complete with all info. It works like a dream! Very impressed.
The only point I would make is that if the order of rotation is important to you, then you need to create the last article first. The menu for of order of rotation doesn't let you select individual articles. Apart from that, a top little extension.

The product does not work 100%. I have used it within the guidelines, but the product errors in IE7, 8, 9. The forums are riddled with user that have the same issues with a lot of their tools in IE and what is the worst, THERE IS NO SUPPORT.
There is no ticket system, just a forum with mods that cherry pick the threads they want to answer. There is no support email as well.
I would not rec these products to anyone. They may look cool, but there are plenty of Joomla dev's out there that stand by their products and offer much better support.
I ended up going with another module and am out my $ I paid for a subscription with nooooo support.

3 years ago I went on their Top Plan which included the carousel which had helped me look good right off the bat.
If you look in detail at their body of work, such as tableless templates and extensions, you would realize that this requires serious effort. I build my own custom templates and extensions so I have some idea how much effort they have done. An effort like this should not get a bad review from someone with trouble. Since there is so much fever from people who want to install and have great results without coding knowledge, this opens up room for inappropriate and naive commenting.

Not sure why all the negative reviews, this is a killer mod. Have used it on loads of production sites and works perfectly, with a bit of css knowledge you can even make it match your sites. Seemed quite easy to setup.
The support in the forums is quite good, much better than the below reviews make out.

I cannot speak to the other problems people have had; I installed this without any problems and I am very pleased. The cost is minimal and includes a host of other components and templates. This is easily well-worth the money.
Came across YooTheme's carousel module and thought this was just the tool I needed. It didn't even bother me that it was a commercial module for they offer a lot modules and themes for a modest price.
This module looks stellar on their demo site and I have spent countless hours trying to get it to work in Joomla v 1.5.4 and haven't had any luck in seeing it in action on my site.
YooTheme's website also provides a short video tutorial and followed it correctly and still no positive results.
Even more frustrating is that most of their other plugins and modules seem to work right after the install, but this one has been more of a headache then anything else.
Also tried to install their theme with this module and demo content in place and that had problems.
This review isn't to tell you to not try it out, though I wish you luck for it wasn't an install and play experience for me like most other modules.
On a final note when selling a commercial module the buyer expects it to work once they have paid for it. This one does not and needs to go back into some sort of beta for a re-release when the kinks are ironed out.

Unless you're a highly advanced developer and you have a lot of disposable time, this is most definitely a site to stay away from.

On the surface it could be the best tabs, article management module out there. However, with so many issues, and support seemingly non-existent for this module...its definitely buyer beware at this time. Its a shame, but perhaps they will get there act together. If that ever changes, and the numerous support requests are answered and solved...then I will gladly revise this review.

I use it for displaying 'Latest News', 'Latest Images', 'Search Cloud' and 'Most Popular' articles. None of these things come with the Carousel. Instead it just gives you the means of displaying any other module or text in a really attractive manor.
