Our team expanded the possibilities of the default Joomla Related Items Module. Off course we needed to rename it a bit, that is why Related Anything is born.
With our extension you can choose which categories or sections must be included or excluded in search result. You can even use the automated "current" section/category option.
In the new 2.0 version you can control in which relationship keywords are found, if it needs to be an AND or OR definition.
Furthermore you can add extra keywords in the module, so it adds them up to the ones already present in the article.
If you really want to go extreme you can ignore the article keywords at all, and only fetch articles having your predefined keywords.
In a few days we will have a demo site online

I've used this with a few web sites now, and it has functioned as described. Fairly sure from my experience that this module is ready for prime-time usage on just about any Joomla setup you can think up.
I can't even think of what features I would want added to this extension. The idea is simple and it works. Well done.

I like this module, was looking for something like this, since the original module of Joomla doesnt provide a category option.So far it works smoothly, just the aligment does not fit my template perfectly, especialy using Module Class Suffix. Maybe it can be fixed somehow. However I recommend it.
