Working as Promised, no rocket science involved. The plugin is working as it should and its implementation can be seen at http://www.enggpedia.com
This plugin works perfectly as you don't have to create relations between items based on tags.
I discovered that this plugin only shows articles from the same category, which is not the same as "related items" chere the links are build on the keywords of the article.
Is it possible to do that kind of links (with thumbnails) with this plugin ???

I installed the plugin and works fine, except that it doesn't have thumbnails options on the parameters.

I was looking for related articles plugin and I found this but in vain. You cannot exclude the content for which you dont want the related articles to appear, neither you can do it for a particular category or section. I request the author to provide a provision to exclude the content either by providing article Id, category id or section id. otherwise I could have rated this extension as 5 stars out of 5. Over all this extension is good but you need more control over your content.
