Pretty Feeds Module

Pretty Feeds is a Joomla! 1.5 module that has changed the way in which RSS and Atom feeds from other sites were traditionally displayed. As a quick feed, you can just add a feed url and get done, and if you want total control over feed display, play with over seventy config parameters !
Feature List :-
Module Options :-

* Add your own custom CSS
* Add upto 3 feeds per module
* Add any custom text to add on top of the module display
* Styling options for border width, style, padding and color
* Styling options for background color
* Option to have a direct 'Subscribe' link in the module itself
* Option to display feed logo, favicon or both
* Ability to display ads (adsense or any other ad) on top, bottom and also after every set number of feeds

Display Options :-

* Display a fixed number of feed items
* Display a limited number of characters or words per feed item
* Specify number of columns for feed display
* Display all tags or only allowed tags in description (eg you may disallow 'a' tag to prevent links to appear in the description)
* Ability to strip html as an option (may be required for notorious feeds full of html code which do not display properly otherwise. This can be used in combination with allowing specific html tags)
* Options to display or hide Feed Item Title, Item Description, Feed Name, Feed Summary, Feed Footer (date, time, etc) and a 'Read More' link
* Whether link to the feed source should open in new window or same window
* Option to display feed number (numbered bullet) before the title

Styling Options for Feed Item Title :-

* Option to link the item title with the original feed source
* Show tooltip on hovering over the title (description will be shown as tool tip)
* Option to have a javascript tooltip which will display even images in the tooltip
* Tooltip Width (if using javascript)

Styling Options for Feed Item Description :-

* Ability to have a fixed height and display a scrollbar
* Option to have continuously scrolling text
* Specify first line indenting as an option

SEPARATE Styling Options for BOTH Feed Item Title And Description :-

* Option to add your own CSS or make use of visual settings
* Background Options : Image and / or Color
* Font Options : Color, Family (Font Name), Style (Italics), Boldness, Caps, Size
* Text Options : Alignment, Line Height, Word Spacing, Character Spacing

Pretty Feeds is an excellent RSS reader and the support is fantastic. I had a conflict with simplepie with another module and within hours support (Nilay Medh) got back to me with a fix which works perfectly. The conflict was not Pretty Feeds fault either. I also requested a customization and with 8 hours I had it at no charge! Excellent well written module. There are so many options I really haven't had to play with them all. Thank You
