This extension is very powerful, I recommend anyone trying to find a cck to try this one.

The support forum is very helpful, i am same name there you can join site(free) find my name and see the help they have provided me and i a not a paying member yet, can't wait to be a member and get the full access to all there stuff.

Just using the free resources with member stuff is very powerful it is in its own catergory beyond a cck.

A member of the site for demonstration purposes showed how it could look like all the other cck's (if that was your reason to use other) but since its resources it has tons of others features.

i tried k2, flexicontent, Zoo and Seblod but ressources is better.
My compagny (very big it is a secret) love Ressources specially the fields relate child/parent, media and gallery and the great multiselect with add value.
If you are a profesional, lets buy it because it is the best !!!

What can I say
I have been trying it for about a week, and in parallel in a customer customer project (website for tour operator)
In the mean time I have also been in touch with the customer service and that was also a pleasurable experience with very timely responses
Further I have customized the template that is shipped and it was not that much of a challenge, at least if one can a basic amount of php.
In terms of extensibility I have yet to come across things I wouldn't be able to do with this component and the wealth of configuration is simply amazing where a configuration in a category higher up in the hierarchy is automatically propagated to the children.
So I am now looking into various projects I would be implementing with this component and have already started discussing with their support on a customization I would need.
Their support forum is quite mature with a wealth of information, although I am slightly annoyed over the search facility.
I hope they will get the video tutorials back and live soon.

I used JoomSuite first time several days ago, after it was published under GNU GPL. It need a hour to me to be impressed and to love this extension.
Very flexible, universal, killer Joomla! application.
Just look at Education Video Blog to understand base functionality and imagine great opportunшties.

I´m not coder and when I try joomsuite resources
first time Its was hard to understand and install every thing.
I get lot off help from the support of joomsuite and they are good.
And now I have some portals upp and running whit all components from joomsuite I bay every component from them bequse I´m have build upp portals whit this. And now its not problem to understand Its not so hard to work whit so I can only say keep on whit this.

I am making a suite based upon the entire joomsuite collection. I have owned a Joomsuite Resources commercial license for quite a while....At first i didnt use it much because didnt know how to use it correctly & i was new to joomla....after watching some tutorials that they have on their site....I now know how to use the product & it is wonderful...i have built every application i need using this one component....its just amazing

Maybe the best component better than Zoo because we can submit form fornt end and the support is very good.
With this component we can do everythinh we want

Great extension for Joomla, everything is possible to manage content, create guides with multirating, menu tabs, etc ... (take the pack advensed otherwise impossible to buy the rest later! Is a small inconvenience, but the team is perfect, just made me pay the difference to get the full package)
The possibilities are endless air, I will try to make a guide to restaurants with ratings and geo googlemap situation.
It remains to take in hand, but it apparently seems quite simple (a few bugs still remain ...)
The price is very good compared to the possibilities, as opposed to extensions as jreview (expensive and limited) or SOBI2 (free but difficult to configure the templates), phpeasydata (very expensive and not integrated with that CMS Jommla superb! !!!!!
The problem configuration for ioncube, but it does not seem insurmountable (a well-placed php.ini hop and it works!)

After testing many components I finally found one that did exactly what I was looking for.
This is truly an amazing and comprehensive high quality component.
I used this to create a Knowledge Base for a famous company.
The support desk is very friendly and helpful.

It's been more than a year now since i've started looking for a right solution for my business listings directory/events/classifieds. Damn, it's actually a pain :) U select one Component, develop it and then realize that it's actually not going to work with another one [no compatibility unless you're a pro developer]. For instance you need to manage registered visitors [email subscribers, shoppers] and also advertisers, and you need to manage them efficiently from one place. Well it gets very frustrating, right? Very limited options.
What i needed was a component that will be universal for user management, creation of a business directory, classifieds, eStore, events.

Digression- BTW. I'm still looking for an advertisement component. I think i might try OpenX, but not sure, let me know if you had any experience. Surprised to find that Joomla doesn't have any good Advertisement management solution.

I stumbled upon JoomSuite Resources 3 weeks ago [Didn't want to spend time on trying it because it has almost no reviews and kinda a new one, not like SOBI]

I'm still testing it, but I'm very satisfied, IT'S LIKE LEGO, you're building your site as you wish. 1.5 Native, which is a huge plus. It uses J core elements and has a better structure than Joomla itself. It expends Category features using multiple parameters and Types. Their forum/support is extremely good. I think these guys work day and night perfecting their code. - I'm not advertising here, god forbid, I have never left any good or bad review in my life :) just don't have time [lazy bast..rd] just reading other's reviews.

Anyway, TRY IT, don't get upset if it's a bit confusing about installing a license [For Christ's sake we're all Joomla developers/users here, I'm surprised to find some people whining that it's a bit difficult, not at all, 1,2,3 ]

Since I first found the Joomsuite Components I have been more then satisfied with not just the extensions but the excellent support. All of the components work seemlessly together and they are the best components I've found yet for extending your joomla website. The only drawback is the manuals lack proper instructions and kind of hard to understand, but all of my questions have been answered by support. They also have some video guidance as well.

If you take the time to really learn this component and read what tutorials and content there is describing how it works, I think you will find this to be a great way to add just about any type of article you can think of to your site.

I have been using it for just about a week and about to run out of the trial license days. We definitely plan to pick this component up.

Bottom Line: Don't rush through this extension, give it time and be ready to look at a completely different way your content pages can be created. Also, keep an eye out for documentation on their website as they do not have a support forum.

I bought all Components from Joomsuite and i love this Software. O.K. - It is a lot of them in Beta, but for that you become it much cheaper. The Support is fast and the Guys will answer you to all Questions. For the Feature i hope, they will make another good Plugins for that - But all in all i am happy with this. You can make nearly all you want with the complete Package.

For me, it is a Killer App for Joomla 1.5 native Mode.
Again, i love it and my Projects will finished much faster !

They have Test Licenses for each Product and i have worked before i buy with them - without any Problems.

A must for all Joomla Developers and Webmasters..

I have had no problems with this program and it gets bigger and better with every release. I strongly suggest that you check out all of their programs because they really enhance Joomla and together you can make a very profitable and dynamic website.

Let's just say that JoomSuite Resources saved my company over $30,000 in programming. It really did. After purchasing the software and loading onto Joomla it's been heaven ever since. The great thing about this company that I really like is that if you have a suggestion for a new feature they usually get right on it and add it to the next release. It's great.

Last two years I spent to get a good customizable download manager and a gallery component and an online Audio, Video Player for an Islamic Website.
I tried too many different component and some of them, honestly, were even better than JS resource by some means. But this is really the extension, which fulfilled all my requirements. It is a little bit tricky to understand the functions fully. Exactly similar to Joomla itself, once you learn how to use it, you will fall in love with it.
I never bought any component for Joomla ever , but the small price they are offering the component for is really nothing compared to its functions.
Honestly speaking, this should be available in core Joomla. Joomla is a content management system but the drawback is that Joomla thinks that content can only be an article, it dont give you options for pdf files management, audio , video and all the ten's of different contents. This basic necessity can easily be covered by having JS resource. And the best of all thing is they are really superb in support. Though the support is not available for Saturdays, Sundays, which should be improved, but apart from that they can be contacted any time and they are fast responding people.. I am in good hands! Thanks to the JS team. May Allah the almighty give you hidayah.

It is hard to explain Resources on a single review but you can take advanced infromation from their official web site. I want to review conceptually the resources according to my title.

As I said on title, we can call resources an advanced CMS. It gives you all the opportunities and more that a CMS can offer.

Instead of clasifying every content, they have found common points that every single web page has, then they created a machine to controll and create the content.

If you consider, you can understand every content in a web site has fields, content types and categories in which contents published. However, a download page and a clasified ads page should have different categories, different templates and different information published on every page.

They have created a concept like sections. By this way you can have a dowload diretory, links directory, ads directory, news directory and any kind of content groups that have their own styles, own fields, own categories and sub categories in ulimited depth, published on different sections.

On the other hand, with resources, every member can create their own categories and publish their content to them.

Another thing that every category on every section can have their own content types. Content types are kinds of content, like video, picture, text and many types that is introduced in resources. By this way, for example, you can create a reviews directory on a section with categories of cinema, art and music. People can upload pictures on art meanwhile they can upload videos on cinema and audio files on music, and write review to them.

That is so much flexibility.

But it is not finished. They have another components and all of them work together in an extraordinary fashion.

I praise the work Sergey and his team succeed.

As I said from the begining, It is an advanced CMS. Without joomla people may understand its potential in two or more years but thanks to the joomla and its addictive community.
