Autosave for Simple Content Versioning Plugin

We've created an extension for Joomla! 1.5 that provides a background save of article content while you edit it. No longer will you suffer lost content from session timeouts, mistakes and browser crashes. Autosave for Joomla takes a snapshot of the editor content ever few moments and stores it in the database. If you've lost a version, you can log in to the administrative back-end and choose the "Autosave" editor button from the bottom of the Joomla! WYSIWYG editor to find your lost work.

Very nice extension that needs to be installed together with Simple Content Versioning. Only con is that we are more then one year done the line and it still is in beta. Perhaps the developers with for Joomla! 1.6..

Does what it says. A HECK of a lot better than having to use an offline editor with crash recovery and having to keep track of a bunch of redundant files on my hard drive! GREAT work. Invaluable tool! NO complaints whatsoever!

Good but seems lost HTML-formatting

Hi there.
I use Opera and when I try to revert to prev autosaved version with 'Autosave' button, HTML-formating is lost. The text looks the same both on WISIWYG panel and HTML source panel.
However, when reverting to manual saved version from 'Versions' button - it's ok.

What can I say ... simply amazing! This is a true life-saver and once in stable release, will be a "must-install" on every Joomla! site that I do. Works with K2 Items as well! Now THAT a few of my clients could have used :)
