Thing need to imporve

1 very hard for image upload, so you may just diable

2 You need to set the defauld editor live to let it run.

3 did not work with security image, thought the develop mention securityimage v 1.1.3 , which is very confused. for security impage has V5 .V4,V3, but no 1.1.3 .

Here are some suggesstion:

1 embed the antispam function like Joomla comment.

2 Let user to select no editor panel, for lots of Black hap SEOer will spam the site by using the advanced eidtor pannel

3 Get upload impage more easy.

This component works nearly fine but the only thing witch does not work is the email. In the email I miss the Introtext and the Maintext. This is an example-email:

Was looking for a long time for similair extention, and was very happy to find this. However, all bugs are still there...

This component works very well with only one problem.
Can't upload any image. I have in images/stories one folder users (755) but is empty.

I just installed the updated version of this extension and I think it's really useful.
But there are a couple of things that I noticed and think should be fixed.
1) When using the "Read more" bar, the code of the bar is the following:

so it's not recognized by the system.
2) To avoid that problem, I can activate "show fulltext" but then if no image is uploaded, there will be a "not found image" and that's not good.

So I'd like to have only one textarea (and one related uploaded image) with the possibility to use the "read more" bar.

This component does (almost) what it says here. you can easily manage your user inputs on articles with this which is missing in the core of Joomla.
But there are some flaws:

1. It needs a support forum! WDtech please set this up. With your knowledge of Joomla it should be pretty easy for you. Greatly needed!
2. I cannot get the image upload to work. All is looking fine but the image is never uploaded.
3. When you disable the full text box in the backend you still get the full text imags upload box in the frontend.
4. 5 cannot see the requirements for this component which might explain something about my point #2.

But all in all... Nicely done :-)

I have just registered to rate some of the great plugins I am finding, and this is one of them. It took me a little while to figure out exactly how it works, but it is just what I needed it. Now it will be very easy for authors to contribute their content to my site.

Just can´t get it to work. But that wouldn´t be a problem if i only had some way to solve it.

Has no documentation, no support. All links guide to the commercial web, and no place for help.

I contact through the common contact form, and didn´t get any answer.

I´ve installed it easily. I configured it, I can´t make it work, and theres´s no support, no documentation and no guide.

This component vastly improves the content submission from the frontend which will hopefully enable many more members to post content. The only problem I have with it is that the images don't upload, I've tried it a number of times without success. If images did upload it would be perfect.

This component was chosen because I had tried all the other 1.5 native (and FREE as I run a charitable site) content submission extensions, and those were either just too complicated or just too futzy (how's that for techspeak?) But this little component fits just everything I needed. It's simple to install, VERY easy to customize through the language manager and the configuration menu is quick to understand plus very easy to configure. There are a couple of little things that I'm sure were just me being a noob, but in less than 5 minutes they were fixed. Most importantly, my users find it so much better than the one we were using...thanks!

I've contacted (on the first release) to report with the correction of the file with / an \ (does not work under Apache...)
And ask for explainations about images upload which are working the old 1.0.15 way.
Never get any response.

This "new" release is the same of the old one, worse, not a single line has been changed, the bug hasn't been corrected neither...

This extension looks like a Ninja extension, done for J! 1.0.x series.

Sorry, but very bad extension on my opinion.

I installed the component and had an issue on front end when wanted to show the formular for a post. Anyway I fixed it by replacing on line 278 gory. (For now you can only choose from a category and if you have several categories with a similar name, it can be very confusing for a poster to select the right one)
- To be able to desactivate the file attachement (if not needed)
- To receive a message in back-end when a user submits an article as does the standard joomla submission.
