I tried this today, and it was awesome. extensions like this keep me using Joomla. keep it up, very soon it is going to be one of the most downloaded extensions for joomla, because of its twitter like functionality and non-commercial. I would have giving you 6 stars if it where available. I rate this as excellento perfecto.

I wanted something like Twitter and i found it. Easy to install. Front end friendly. Good stuff.

This extension is almost exactly what i need - easy to use and submit updates from the front end, and a very nice looking interface. however, i would like the ability to point it to an existing category, so that articles in that category appear in the microblog, and when you post to the microblog, it saves them as articles in that category. also, being able to use hashtags would be nice, which could be saved as keywords in the article. overall, great job with the extension, this is the only one I have found so far that do what I need.

i like this extension...just what i want it all this time. but there's some modification needed for the developers. like options parameters to show menus which show first.
alse the RSS and FB share button didn't work at all.

Good work guys...really love it. Up n running in 2 min...
But some more feature are required. Like integration with Jomsocial and K2.....
Plus a module to display the Microblog.

thats nice extensions but needed a simply integration whit jomsocial profil kunena profil activity stream of jomsocial and languaje in my case spanish :P

how about them? i cant write greeks. its my site problem or with this microblog?

I see this component HTMicroblog do not integrated Agora forum profile..
I think you should integrated agora profile too.

last month (before i use agora forum), i use cb for user's profile. I realize that cb is very complicated and could make a headache for several days..

But after i use agora forum, i like how its look like (user's profile). For me and maybe for many users, Agora profile is more better than cb.

I really want to thank you for this really great extension. Very smart! You have included all the great stuff there. Just a few more things if you could help me out.
1. There are color options there but for me nothing shows.
2. Also, there seems to be some problem with the alignment. The input box seems to overlap the one where the "Name" is and the following and follower part are way down below.
3. How can I put this great extension in my home page? I would love to have it there. It might be a very simple stuff but I don't know css, html, really. And I'm new even to Joomla.
Please help me out! I would give 4 1/2 stars if it were possible but I'll give 4 because of some of my concerns, but if everything goes right soon, I'll come back and give it 5 stars! Really, thanks a lot! It's perfect, almost, at least for me. :)

It does not work when you turned lazy loader and SEO simple on. This plugin seems to be what i`m looking for but unfortunately it does not work with those plugins. Hope this information helps Hycus Team. Anyway, demo looks absolutely gorgeous guys! :)

This is a terrific compromise between form and function---and it just so happened to be EXACTLY what I was looking for in a blog.

I didn't really require a blogging platform for more than short(ish), daily entries, and not only did HTMicroblog let me do that, but it also didn't limit my content too much. The aesthetics of it are great, too, and I find the module and layout adds dynamic style to my otherwise pretty "uniform" looking site.

This is an great component. If it has the ability upload image and share youtube videos it will be awesome. Also when someone select cb for profile it will better edit profile button not shown. i like it.

This is a great component. Very easy to install and use. It is totally self-contained, and really integrates nicely. It has a very clean layout and it is easy to customize the look and feel.

Support is amazing. They have had several major updates and always respond to support questions on their website's forum. On one occasion, they provided a download for bug fix within an hour of me submitting the issue. That is extremely rare with a FREE component. If this is any indication of their level of service, I would definitely hire this company to do custom work.

I am really looking forward to some of the new features they are planning. Thanks for a great component and great support.

I had hoped for an easy-to-use blogging thing, in as for the adminstrator to post short messages, sort of like twitter. Preferably to be placed a a component in the sidebar.

This is unfortunately not the case with this HTmicroblog extension. ;-(

Instead it screwed up the look of the website, installed some weird code in the sidebar, and fundamentally requires a seperate menu item. (which is however easy to install)

I am not a professional webmaster, in the sense that I am not proficient enough yet to create my own extensions, nor deal with sites being "HACKED" by certain punks etc. However what I can do is say that "I specialize in marketing" on a massive scope and "image" is the most important factor online, with "sounds" being shunned by major search engines atm, clearly "image and form" are the way to make millions online...

Daring to say it, this extension reminds me of facebook like, smooth, styling, perfect for officialwebmasterforums I am currently developing, please however implement the rss, the comments-on-comments, etc etc, think out of the box as I always do - can you help create an entirey ajax start page instead? a plugin for the frontpage, whereby people who enter the site are listed automatically in ajax, there is a chat room like shoutbow, there is list recently updated articles (in real time) etc... people are predominantely against ajax landing pages, however they're mistaken, because you'll still collect majority of clicks from your other standard content/article pages etc... if you make this type of an interactive site, I think you'll push the internet to it's eventual level (video gaming lobby style websites, with video, mic implementation etc... only a matter of time :)"

I previously have installed this extension in my website but I thought of implementing this in Ajax. But now htmicroblog has reduced my work :)

Also, a jomsocial integration would be appreciated too..

This works out of the box, just as described .I use this on 3 sites, easy to install and deploy. Setting the word limit is an excellent feature.

Yes agreed with the earlier reviewer, this is not a twitter but I guess you can "position" it as your sites Personal Twitter !!

Could you please integrate a "quick reply " system too ? We must be able to set the number of words in the reply too .

I notice that you are working on a rating system that will be fantastic.

Integrating the above two into this tool will make this unbeatable.

I am not a developer but I am sure it must be difficult to integrate a quick reply . But it must be done.

I like this component but it is not described properly. It is not a microblogging component like Twitter, it is instead a community microblogging component which is much better for my site personally. All posts do display on one page. As the poster mentioned it would be nice to have CB plugin for it, but also I really think what is missing is a module. This type of content changes constantly and it would be good to have that displayed all over the site. On my site I noticed a bug today that apostraphe's can not be used in messages. I have not started troubleshooting it yet.
