Found the plugin to be very useful and flexible. Just what I need.
Had and issue with 'No Document Found' in IE8, Chrome and Safari but Mike solved it via email very quickly.
The solution was remove special characters as well as ' and & then replace with " and & in the KML file.

I have installed this plugin on several different sites and the only error I've had was from entering the wrong Latitude and Longitude settings from Google. High recommended!

Mike Reumer's Googlemaps Plugin is highly recommended in my eyes. It contains an astounding number of useful parameters and - as far as I can see - works fluently and very reliable.

Newcomers may initially be a bit confused about all the possibilities this plugin does provide, but that's just normal. Joomla netheads will definitely enjoy them.

As a side note: Mike is very courteous and will gladly help you out in case you encounter any issue about using the plugin on your site. Even if the issue is not related to the plugin itself, e. g. browser glitches or template glitches.

Very useful and flexible tool.
With the kml files and GeoXML, you obtain maps where you can hide or show points thank to checkboxes in a sidebar. These checkboxes are the folder's name in the kml files.

Read a lot of the reviews on this before trying it out. Must say was NOT disappointed. This is a great extension, easy to configure and with excellent support from Mike. Thanks again Mike for putting in the time to produce a solid non-commercial extension, like other non-commercial extension developers on this site your effort is greatly appreciated.

By far one of the best-working and most useful plugins available. LOTS of configuration options allowed me to get it looking and functioning just like I wanted. Kudos to Mike - a nice guy who was very helpful when I ran into a very minor snafu.

I needed a little help form the creator to get my install working which was due to my rookie level of working with Joomla. He was prompt and helpful and now my install works perfectly. I needed to display maps in a variety of ways and this plugin did the job very well. The options are many and this is what appealed to me. Also the support is great. I needed some explanation of the plugin and it was answered quickly. I recommend this plugin for you map needs.

Im using this plugin and I have to say its the best Google Maps integration for Joomla there is and I have tried them all(at least in this site)!!

Most of them are either not working or lacking a lot of features or extremely complicated to use.

Mike's plugin on the other hand is really easy to use and has all the features you can think of, plus everything is concentrated in one single page so you cant get much confused(so neat and tidy :))

The only issue i came up to using it was that I couldnt place it on my contact page no matter what I tried but Mike's support was really great and he answered me the same day I wrote him an email!
