Version 2.12 is available and added: multiple kml files, Simple directions on map, directions in lightbox and possibility to use print version of directions, streetview with button!, 3D and automatic control, lightbox out of infowindow, navigation label, Wiki & You tube layer & other, Yahoo pipes support, directions animation, tabbed infowindow, Earth control lookat & camera, ArcGis layer, Bird view and Google Indexing
Look at the demo site first for documentation. If you've problems please do the checklist on the demosite. If this doesn't help or you have questions or new wishes please send me an email.

(remove returns or < br /> when you copy this example)
You can change one of the parameters:
width, height You must put the units behind the number like 100% or 400px to whatever you want although if its too small, you won't see very much.
text is for the marker, that will show on the map with a balloon. If you don't want to see the text, just set text=" and it will not display, the text is the data displayed above the location pin. Usually it would be used to display an address or hyperlink. A hyperlink is possible use the format: linkName. Don't use (double) quotes!
tooltip is for the marker to have a tooltip when the mouse is on the marker (don't use HTML)
address is for a address to search for the coordinates (lon/lat has to be empty)
kml for is for the url of a kml-file reachable on the internet.

I needed a little help form the creator to get my install working which was due to my rookie level of working with Joomla. He was prompt and helpful and now my install works perfectly. The plugin has a lot of variables that others don't include allowing me to add a custom marker for my maps. Thanks to your plugin Mike, my site is improved with your efforts! Keep up the good work!

I needed to display maps in a variety of ways and this plugin did the job very well. The options are many and this is what appealed to me. Also the support is great. I needed some explanation of the plugin and it was answered quickly. I recommend this plugin for you map needs.

I love this. I had a problem at first that was my own mistake in syntax, but Mike showed me where I was off, and now its exactly what I am looking for. Thanks Mike for your great work

I love this plugin. It does everything you can imagine with Google Maps. The install is easy the configuration is simple with MANY options!! The animation features are excellent!! This is a must have for any one doing any mapping with Google. Great Job Mike!!!

Greate plugin, simple to incorporate, very configurable. You can do almost everything! Also, the promptest online support you ever had.
This is a great plugin, i had a small issue with the map not showing in IE, Mike reacted with a solution straight away and had it working fine. This guy is a star here is the answer the IE problem below...

Great addition to any contact page. I'm using this to display three maps for a clients three store locations. Author even emailed me the plugin so I could display the maps in a tab. I submitted a support question and had a working answer in about 15 minutes!

I have been using [MosMap] for a while and had no issues. For some reason akJoomGallery (using JQuery) caused a MooTools conflict and the Google maps stopped working on GoldFigure.
I had a great response from Mike and with thanks to the magic words it's all fixed.

Thank you for this plugin! I love it! I'm glad I found it! The only thing that I would probably like to add to it is to make showing the speech bubble as a default, like in the normal GoogleMaps. Its not a big deal, but it would be cool. Thanks once again!!

Just started using Joomla and creating sites for customers and this has to be one of the first plugins anyone should download. Allows you to insert a Google Map of any size, of any view type, etc. in any content article. Easy to use, easy to install and configurable in about a million ways. Excellent tool which I know I will be reusing. Well done.

I love this plugin. I had my Joomla 1.x website online for 3 years now. I had an older version of this plugin from the start. It was just to display a map. But using my blog for publishing more and more interactive content and detailed info, the maps with extra layers come in handy.
The plugin is easy to use. Installation went fast and easy. After publishing the plugin and applying the API key, I only needed to put some parameters inside my article. Great.
I use the tool most of the time to put tracks of touring rides on maps in an article. I prepare all in Garmin Mapsource and Google Earth, export the KMZ file and upload it into my joomla site. Works great. I'm still trying out new stuff.

A perfect nifty little plugin, google maps are the perfect addition to any contact info page, my clients always love em'. :)
I'm a newbie to all things Joomla... and found this brainless to use -- so to speak. It's excellent. Thank you for such a great plugin.
