The main news is the possibility to implement several galleries on your site. You can now simply and directly from the component create new and unlimited menu items related to their skin. Also the management of the parameters of each skin is easier.
Installing Ozio Gallery 2.1 the plugin Content - OzioGallery2 is automatically installed and activated.
To insert a gallery inside Joomla content follow this simple procedure:
- Create a menu item relating to the gallery you want.
- Access the administration page of the component Ozio Gallery, menu Components -> Ozio Gallery 2, on the right side are visible all the galleries published, and the plugin code to be copied. Copy the code referring to the plugin you wish to enter in a content.
- Access to the content of Joomla where you want to enter the gallery, and paste the previously copied code where you want, save and view the article from frontend. To change the size of the gallery included and change the other parameters is necessary to refer to the respective menu item. For those who want to remove or change the title of the menu item from above the gallery, act in Parameters (System) of the respective menu item, setting a new page title, or by setting the parameter Show Page Title to No.
By performing this procedure, are published both the menu item and the gallery content. For those who do not want to have the menu item visible on the site, we advised to create a new menu titled Hidden, and create in this menu the menu item for the gallery to be included in the content. Is automatically created a new module for the new Hidden menu, this module is not active and should be left as inactive. In this way the galleries created with this new hidden menu will be included in the contents and belong only to content that is pasted in the code of the plugin.
The new "mediaGallery" skin allows the automatic recognition of the categorization of images(jpg),video(flv), audio(mp3) each folder in the main folder of images automatically become a new category selectable from the left menu.

Excellent is truly the right rating. When You look at the com working together with module and plugin You will love to recognize some programmer just thinking about usability the right way! BTW the gallery types integrated are good also. But mostly fascinating is the simplicity of the whole thing. Gives U lots of opportunities. Great. More of that.

i downloaded the free versions, i liked it very much. I did notice the links above and below the media player. I followed the link hoping to purchase a brand free version, only to find out after that it's not a straight component as any other joomla extension...it doesn't exist a version like the free, unbranded. but one find out this only after forking out the money.
So i think it's fair to say to people clearly...you cannot have this component brand free, the pro version it's not like the free version, which can be installed as any other joomla component.
if people are looking at unbranded, professional extensions, look elsewhere!

The gallery is great!! Excellent work! The only problem that I am having is having to reset the XML file everyday sometimes twice a day. For some strange reason my photos don't load and the gallery drops and the only way to get my gallery back up is my resetting it. If someone has a fix for this please let me know.. Thanks

I like the look of the component very much. Works fine on my IE.
I have a suggestion. When creating a menu-item the title of the item is used as unique identifier. Which means that it is impossible to make two menu-items with the same name. It would be of great help if the alias was used as unique identifier.

Great concept, brilliant idea hence the 'good' rating, unfortunately poor on support for English speaking users.
I successfully installed the extension and could view it as a module, however, was unable to get the plugin for Imagerotator (using the generated code) to work in the article content I wanted to place it in
I went for help to the Ozio Gallery website only to find that it was still 99% Italian.
If anyone has managed to get this to work or the owner of this extension reads this, it would be very much appreciated if they could post in the forum so those of us of lesser knowledge are able to contact you without experiencing such extreme difficulty.
As I said previously,
I would rate it as 'excellent' if I could get it to work as it claims.

I really like the component but I can't get it to work on IE and Firefox at the same time. Very frustrating. Would love to continue to use OZIO Gallery but until it works on all browsers it is pretty useless.
to many problems with IEs(6,7,8), which makes it rather useless for production sites. Most of the average users' using crap browsers.
Works fantastic in Chrome and Firefox though.
Very good component otherwise.
If IE issues can be solved it will be the best gallery out there.

This is great just what i needed, I have purchased the TiltViewer-Pro but beside the logo that was removed I did not get any new customizations on the menu, also how do I use Ozio Gallery2 as module example I wan to use the Skin Accordion on the front page instead of the slideshow module.
Thanks.
Thanks.

For Ozio Gallery2 the module will be release in next weeks, you can use the plugin

This is a great component, but Im having issues with having to reset the the XML file daily. Daily my Gallery will load the flash file but the images dont load they just come up grey. Couldnt find an answer in the online support, but I will continue to recommend this product

This component is working really good. But I have one problem with the IE8. The background color outside the flash player is always white.
It works fine with Firefox, but not with the Internet Explorer. Where can I change the background color?

This is pretty cool component. As stated by many others & now by myself, it is useless because of the author links at the bottom of the component.
I don't want customers redirected to some other guys site just for a component (yeah right.) If I was building a website & did not care about basically anything, this would be great!

Yes, there are lots of gallery components and plugins out there, but this is the first that I've run across with as many options. The author has taken the time to integrate different stand-alone flash products into a single, easy to set up and managed solution.
I like the fact that, at least with the Tilt viewer, that we can opt to purchase the commercial versions of some of the gallery components. This helps to support the technology as well as give us an option to tie together everything in a professional presentation.
I would like to be able to opt-in with the author to purchase a non-branded solution for the overall Ozio component. You do have to dance a little jig to try and get the layout where the fixed tag line is just right.
I would also like to see some options with non-flash alternatives in case the visitor is on a mobile device (can you say iPhone?) that doesn't support flash. I have worked around this, but it may be a simple parameter that could be programmed to test for a flash capable browser and opt for a different non-flash display.

Have I missed something, 'Skin FlashCategory' is gone?
The one reason I used this was the ability to drop folders/images in and they simply worked.
The Beta worked, this doesn't?

Skin FlashCategory is gone, but you can use the new Skin Imagin for the ability to drop folders/images in and they simply worked

This is a great gallery with lots of different skins that can make websites look really impressive.
I would say that they MUST offer a paid version with no links as it simply cannot be used for client projects with the links. I would def buy it if it was available and I am sure others would so they are really losing out!
Also labels should be available on all galleries and the category gallery does not seem to work - I think if you have SEF enabled.
Also forum is mostly in Italian so can an English speaker partner up with them and start selling a paid version and managing forum please :)

I loved this original and easy gallery. Also the developer replied immediately.
Maybe it is not indicated for large quantities of picture in different category (also if that it is possible) because the procedure to have that is complex. I hope there will be some improvement in that and the Ozio Gallery will be simply perfect.
