Bought the full ecard component and it does work as promised. It looks nice and has some great features. Here comes the very big BUT. BUT, it killed the SEO of the sites that we installed it on. Our major Keywords from Google Webmaster Tools were over run with words like "zoom" and national holidays. I imagine this may have been created for a stand alone ecard website, whereas we used it as an extra feature on our sites. So be warned, if you aren't using this on an ecard intended site and that's its only purpose, this site negatively impact your search engine ranking.

I purchased oDude eCard and associated extensions & am extremely pleased with the component and the support. Yes, the documentation could be better, but setup of the extension is very straight forward, it's fairly easy to style, and again, the support I have received from Naveet, has been awesome every time I have had a question. ... I look forward to the coming improvements and updates, as it is an extension I will be using on more than a couple websites.

Overall I have to say that I decided for it because I didn't find any other extension with the same features. I give it 3 and a half stars in features because even though it is good there still many things that I would implement on it if it was my own software. Also, unfortunately there is no compensation by the developer to those who contribute with ideas, so I keep them to myself lol.

The extension is easy to use and install so even a joomla novice can do it, however expect little flexibility is customisation. WYSIWYG!

Documentation for my version is very poor or non existent. You really need to get messages back and forth to/from the developer if you have any advanced questions you would like answered. I had no issues with this type of support and always got a response to the ones I made.

I would give it 4 stars if there was a more attractive pricing model. You make a one off payment and if there are upgrades or bug fixes, you have to pay for each and everyone of them!!..
The developer also offers a club membership by which you can get upgrades for a period of three months. My experience with this software is that this club membership is a)very expensive b)it's unlikely you get your money's worth as there aren't enough releases for your chosen software to make up for your investment within the three month period!. You may as well wait for the latest release and pay AGAIN for it!.

Overall not bad but unfortunate to those (like me) who like to have always the latest releases installed! If you are happy to buy it and live with the original version forever, then the 4 and half stars apply here.

The program is easy to use, for developer and for end user. The support is great. I wanted to disable a feature and they emailed me right back with how to do it and the instructions were very clear and specific which was very helpful. I am using the card program for a number of my websites, offering free cards is a nice way to get web traffic to and promote a website. I have been developing Joomla sites for a couple of years and my level is intermediate.

After a few normal questions about how to use the component... and with the help of a specialist in ODude Network, everything works perfectly. I particularly liked the speed and efficiency of service. ODude Ecard 2.1 is an excellent component and I recommend it without hesitation. Bravo. Good job.

Ecards Odude has left me very impressed. It's really good and functional. Easy to configure and install. Support has been wonderful, very quick and concise, respectful and friendly. I give my vote 100%.

I bought oDudes Ecard 2.0 after looking at the site and asking a few questions to which I received a quick response. Having bought the package and reading the readme files and the documentation on the site, I really struggled to get it up and running. Having used a lot of my limited experience to sort out some of the problems I emailed support and got help pretty quickly.
As I got further into the package I realized that I had to download and install the profile package as well.
I struggled to find adequate documentation for it so had to resort to spending hours trying different things out and reloading individual ecards. I managed but it was hard work.
I did get stuck and emailed support about a couple of points and that was 5 days ago. Still waiting for a reply.
Overall I am disappointed with the documentation (or lack thereof) as well as the response time for support. Unless you are pretty handy or experienced with PHP or joomla I would suggest looking somewhere else.

I can see at google hundreds of site using this. But am surpires how here is no any comments and votes ?
If user able to upload their own image to send card, it would be the best product in greetings card world.
