New feature: Turbo mode. Load huge galleries within seconds!
It offers numerous opportunities to present pictures quickly and easily in articles.
The special feature of the plugin is that you can control any parameter on the syntax call.
Editor Button - SIGE Paramater. With the button you can set the parameters very easy on-the-fly in an article. It is a great addition to the SIGE plugin.
Highligts are: parameter call, watermark function, read IPTC data, read text files (support for multilingual files), thumbnail storage, crop function, sort by modification date, output as a list, CSS Image Tooltip, Editor Button SIGE Parameter and much more!

Really like this plugin, produces a great looking and functioning gallery, instantly, with lots of options.
thank you author!! However, i am running into issues at the moment, and need some help!! Its worked fine for several folders, but the current set of images im using, it crashes my joomla site: HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfil the request.
The image is only 1.5mb, theres no size limit is there? there is nothing in my joomla error logs :'(

nice extension ,easy to use and make save lot of time.
I extend your component with one or two minor functionnalities:
the natural sort ordering so you can order your pictures manually.
a suffix css class for each call to the plugin to customize the layout.
where I can send you the sources?

This extension works like charme! It's as easy as 1,2,3. Install, Upload pics, include in article, have a nice Gallery! Support is outstanding!

Still I'm a beginner with Joomla! and just finished my first website ever (at the age of 56, if anybody minds). I needed a easy-to-use photo-gallery, and I'm happy that I found SIGE. Easy to install, easy to use, lots of parameters. Offers much more than I needed at the beginning. Top-rating from me!

I am not a very technical person. So I was looking for an easy way to display certain pictures. SIGE is a great extention. It is easy to install. The documentation is excellent and it is very easy to use.

(The issue was solved in the support forum.)
Or should I say lightbox killer? For a simple and lightweight gallery or for images embedded in your content or wherever, forget the rest, commercial and all, SIGE does it all.
It installs easy. No need for support -- it runs right out of the box. It has a ton of options and it is easy to configure. You can, simply(!!!)override the settings in the call to the plugin. It is light. My sites run faster and with less layout problems than with one of the commercial lightboxes I paid for.
The demo site is in German so it takes a bit to figure out some of the settings. When that support site is translated this plugin will go to the top of the Joomla users "must-have" list! Danke!

For all to read, this is a wonderfull plugin. I even replaced other thumbnails solutions with this one because you can switch off javascript to let JCE mediabox emulate Lightbox. Also, as thumbnail solution I had an increase of speed of my website. So this plugin is Excelent, and when you have a question or a remark, you get a quik answer from Victor Vogel. So download this one, it's for your own good.

This is an excellent gallery plugin for joomla.
I'm building a new website for my photographs. I don't have a lot of experience with webdesign, but this plugin is very easy to use and offers a lot of features!

After trying out several photo albums on a test server with J1.6 this has become my favorite because it fulfils all my needs. I've couldn't it done better by myself. So thanks a lot. I use it for a hiking magazine with lot of pictures (+15000) to illustrate my walkings with comments (yes, it's possible to add text with the pictures, even on a slide show).
SIGE is easy to implement, and straightforward. I re-use one article, so they all look the same.
One thing several readers of my website discovered is that they could not see the pictures using Internet Explorer 9. Something to do with mootools I suppose, but that will be fixed soon I hope. Any advice for fixing it is welcome. Thanks a lot for the good work!
