Photoon Photo Gallery

Photoon Photo Gallery
(Simplicity is everything)
We decided to build this component because we needed it our self for a customer. And after some search in wane, we decided to build it our self. The whole idea behind Phooton is simplicity, simplicity and simplicity. It should be easy to make a new gallery on a joomla web site. Just make an menu item and choice the folder that should be shown as a gallery.
Just install and choice the image folder you want to be the gallery. The thumbnails are made and cached automaticly. And there is four different ways to show your thumbnails. Almost every aspect of the photo gallery is customazible, such as:
- height and width of the thumbnails
- margin and padding
- border width and color
- custom image description (for whole gallery or specific image)
- image folder (in the "stories" folder)
- image description on or off
- Enlarged images auto adjust to the browser window.
- No flash (works with ipad/iphone).
- Now works with both joomla! 1.5 and 1.6!

After following install instructions and making sure I've got all related extensions installed, I'm showing an error but I'm sure its something that I haven't configured correctly on my site, something I'm missing so just sent you message via your site. Thanks again a cool extension.
If they improve the support, this could be a great gallery, but for now only "Average" because I can not use it and no one answers the support mails.
While I did run into a few bugs, support was prompt and understanding. Although I ultimately found the solution myself, the developer made a personal effort to understand my problem.
Overall, Photoon is a great component if you just need a straightforward photo gallery without any serious setup.

sorry to hear that it didn't work out for you.
We tried to help you out with this and you got a refund.
We thought that it worked out in the end.
Please let us know if you still have a problem.
