This is a great module with really excellent visual transitions between slides and the Vinaora folk have provided a comprehensive Joomla! interface to the underlying CU3er display engine. Brilliant! The fatal flaw, however, is that it uses the 0.9.2 version of CU3er (presumably because it's free and mostly better, in my opinion at least, than the later commercialised version) and there is a bug which no one seems able and/or willing to fix which prevents it from being used as a navigation device within a Joomla! website. The bug is that the description panel which (optionally) appears on each slide can only link to a URL in a new browser window, which is absolutely not what is required for within-site navigation. What a shame! It renders the whole thing virtually useless because it is so confusing. So in summary, a big plus and a big minus.

i found this module is great elegant, fit to my website and working in professional way but i want to know how to change the slide background color from red to black ? this is highly needed for my website

For a free module this is great, easy to install and configure. I actually think the custom configuration files are easier to use then the Joomla GUI interface. One setting I can't for the life of me find, a duration for the slide to display setting? How long the slide displays BEFORE the next tween? There's a duration for the transition, and a delay between each tween but... I can't find the overall slide display timer, is their one? Otherwise, simply brilliant...

Great component because for being a free extension is very complete.
You can customize every parameter and this is a great thing, the final effect is striking, modern, fresh.
My best compliments to the developer, especially for the last release that have improved the config simplicity.

Only let me report some small bugs that I find also in this last release:

- With png images expecially, on sliding, appears a red background and there is no way to make it transparent
- When I try to center the slideshow on my page, I set all parameters (I tried both in backend and xml directly), but the element still appear on the left...

1) Description Box Settings
2) Changes round corners dimensions...which I think can help me in height change..But it only make rounded corner..I want to have description box as shown in the below website..

Installs ok but it's a pain to set it up and make it working. Let's hope it will be improved with some user friendly interface.

Can't rate it any higher even though I seen sites with this rotator working and exposing great stuff.
I simply can't get it working no matter how I try.
I use a great webhost, no SEF settings, everything else works fine on my web page, I am not a beginner... but I can't this working.
Is there some kind of magic you have to do to get it up and running?
Anyway it is definitely not for beginners.

After a long time researching, I got what I needed w/ this module.Just one comment: SEF is still not working in 1.1.1 version for me.It works only in home, but in subpages doesn't.I also posted in Vinaora's forum but thought that it would be a good thing doing a comment here too.Thanks and regards, Kleber

Let me just say it is so good and so configurable and sooo easy that I finally created an account here so I could tell everyone how AWESOME this is.

oh...and the best bit...it is FREE but works just like (better in my opinion) than commercial sliders out there.

A real good module for slide show. Thanks to all Vinaora team for their fabulous job. Xml is a little bit hard ton configue, but there is a great help on their website.

Any Joomla programmer should review this extension as an example of an intelligently thought-out module.

The module itself has built in documentation right within the module. There is a link right in the module to the website for further help.

And the module is elegantly designed for both a newbie who may not understand xml, and for the advanced user who is comfortable in xml.

I was looking for something other than the common boring slide show. This really did the trick. Would be nice to potentially see some background or a type of 3d shadow underneath as it to look like its coming at you more. Never the less Excellent!! Great work guys!

I actually was trying to manually install cu3er for an hour before I saw this module. Installed and had it running in about 1 minute. Had it looking EXACTLY as I needed in 20 minutes thanks to all the wonderful parameters. I am permanently adding this to my design toolbox. Thanks again!

This module save me time and effort and it's simply spectacular! I can't believe that this is free! This beats all of the paid versions of modules in this category! Not only does it look nice but it doesn't conflict with any other script on your site. Even the simple modules in this category does and this one is flash and it doesn't conflict. If you want a stylish, gorgeous yet simple module FOR FREE no less then look no further.

This is simply great module. something i always imagined of. You simply made it so well, it took not more than 30 minutes to implement it.

1. Create your images and place them in the instructed folder
2. Make minor changes to the xml by copying it in a notepad or let this happen automatically
3. Set the Module to enable and position it
4. See it live... Woooo very simple and perfectly guided.
