Advanced features includes: Run multiple Virtuemart product slideshows on a single page, display latest or featured products by category, exclude products on out of stock, customize captions area, selectable cool animation effects, and much much more options via module parameters.
Now, running product slideshows on the web is a breeze.
Inspired and based on Virtuemart product scroller and mootools based slideshow in the famous rokSlideShow which is configured to use the mootools v1.11 library that comes with Joomla 1.5.x to maximize compatibility and resolve mootools library conflicts.

Great slideshow, super easy install and hey it's free. Lots and lots of options on how you want your slideshow to work, text sizes, caption sizes, slideshow size, everything is so awesome and it was easy as pie. The one thing if I could add it in this product would be the option to make the slideshow center, left or right in the space it is in. Everything else works excellent! Thank you to a great developer who wrote it!
I used this to replace the Virtuemart Product Scroller (couldn't get it to show all the images and it would reset after the first one, among the many issues it had). This works great - right out of the box. Installation was easy and configuring the parameters was easy as 1, 2, 3.
One thing to note: When you resize the image area, it will make the image larger too if you have "thumbnail image" checked. I recommend figuring out the size you want and the make sure you have all of your same size images.. approx 430w x 300h.

cant fault this module.
it took me a while to figure it out but if you want more than one on a page use the Instance Suffix box, just put a different number in it for each one and hey presto.

The extension is good, if it works for you. If it does not work just don't expect any help. A visit to the website shows support thread for this module ends on 23/may/10. after that, nothing. most issues mentioned there have yet not been fixed, as i encountered some of them on most occasions when i tried this module. i sent my concerns and problems about the module, but my comments aren't even published, let alone solved. my feeling is that the author has abandoned this module altogether.
however i got it working for a joomla site lately, even if inserting another module of the same type didn't work for me.
My suggestion? if it works for you good luck. if you encounter any problems, uninstall!!

Really REALLY simple to install and set up - was up and running in under 30 seconds! Runs very smooth and without issue.
For future development, one thing I would love to see is an option to hide products with no image. I'm sure this is probably a simple query, which would be invaluable for the site I'm using it on. The products with missing images come up first so I have to unpublish them.
But I cannot fault this, its brilliant. And FREE! wow. Thank you, I'll get a donation over as soon as poss ;-)

Extremelly easy to use (once you get past the learning of the correct configuration and troubleshooting part)
It does what we want, and is extremelly fast.

This extension is excellent in so many ways that i wish it was as intuitive as the functionalities and possibilities it offers upon installation and configuration. I had some difficulties setting it up, and the configuration help was not helpful in solving the issues i had. The good part is that the author responded to those issues in the comment section of the extension download and it really did the trick. That troubleshooting problem should be added to the configuration manual. It seems petty to hit this amazing extension with a flaw like this but the extension is only perfect if we get it to work ;)

Absolutely amazing! i honestly can't believe that this was a free extension. So many virtuemart extentions are commercial, and some cost an arm and a leg, but this is free and it does exactly what it says and i now have it running on the frontpage of the website i'm building. I love it! i seriously can't express how awesome this really is. Thank you to the developer for creating this and making it noncommercial.
After fighting with the default VM product scroller and finally giving up, I went looking for something (free) to use instead. This one works perfectly out of the box, is very easy to customize to get just the look you want, and doesn't seem to fight with anything else on my VM site. Thanks for a great module!
