Easy to setup and install and use. I ran into a jquery conflict since I was already loading jquery for other functionality. Went to the forum for support and got fast response with updated extension for install. Other commercial extension providers could learn from that example. If you pay for an extension, you expect support. Thanks guys!
Don't look further, this plugin allows you to keep aspect ratio of images and keep the crop of the smallest size so that for instance you contain the full square as a thumbnail.
I was looking for a simple extension to display photos from flickr. After nosing around, I chose Art Image Viewer as it seemed to fit my need the best. Upon download, I was pretty frustrated. Nothing was working well. I thought I had wasted $20. As a last ditch effort, I fired off an email to the folks of artetics (the makers of the extension) and within MINUTES they replied! After a few volleys of communication through email, the problem was fixed! They even went into the html coding of my site to sort out the problem! This was very impressive. I can't recommend them highly enough for their excellent service! Kudos to you, Artetics! Thank you!
Easy to install and use. Only the down thing is there is no option to put a caption.

The extension has option to add captions to images from the very first version.
To add captions to images please place artimageview.txt file to the images folder. File structure should be the following:
a.jpg=Description 1
b.jpg=Description 2
c.jpg=Description 3
where a.jpg, b.jpg, c.jpg are your image filenames.

If you use Flickr/Picasa then the image captions are retrieved and displayed automatically.
The plugin is at first sight very simple, but he has a lot of configuration options, exactly as I wanted.
I needed a specific question and was very quickly, accurately and correctly accounted for! Also, documentation and language equipment is perfect!

I love this plugin and use it on most of my sites. It looks great and is very easy to install.
But what I am most impressed with is the excellent support that I have received from the developers on repeated occasions. They have gone out of the way to help even when the problem was caused by bad code from another joomla extension.

I can say that this plugin took the trouble out of doing a professional slideshow. Installation was easy and I love the way it works. I do not have much experience with Joomla! so the guys from support helped me out very fast. So I am gratefull for this plugin, it is definitely worthy.
