I've used Gallery View on several sites with many other mods. It works great and I've found no conflicts. Setup is easy and intuitive. Best of all, it has a clean and elegant look. One of the best image Galleries out there.
I'm thrilled to report that this module is rumored to be getting an update for current versions of Joomla. Looking forward to that!

I was looking for something like this because my designer added this in html prototype and the design was approved and i was given the work after approval but thanks for saving me as your module was the closest one with the prototype code above and after spending a fay on trying to fix it with joomla i use your extension and with some customization it was acceptable to use on the site.

I have to give 5 stars for this free extension that was easy to install and configure. It is important with this extension to resize your photos to match the module pixel parameters since the module itself will not resize your images to fit the module window. For example, if you set your pixels to 480x640 then you need your images to be 480x640. Match the folder name in your Media Manager to the image folder name in the module and you are good to go!! Thank you for this free extension.
I wanted to use this module for my photography gallery. It fulfilled all the criteria that I had when picking a module. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the filmstrip to work with my template.
I am SO HAPPY with Yash Vyas! When I couldn't get the filmstrip to work I just emailed and I had a fix to the filmstrip within 24 hours.

I'm using this extension and it works well, but it don't implements the cache functionalities of Joomla.
When we activate the Joomla cache, the extension don't works well and it bugs. I've contacted the extension author but i never get an answer.
I have to use another extension to use Joomla cache...

One thing: If someone uses this, let's say, in a showcase module position, the picture from the slider is aligned to the left. Create some options so we can choose from: left, right, or center. It would be great! 10 out of then though :D

this is a really good module!
but i want to do some changes in the module and i cant find where i can do that.
When the photo is smaller than the gallery size, it leaves a white color background, and the v-align is set to top. I want to make it align to the center.
Can anybody help me a bit?

This is awesome, really. Easy to install and to set up.
But there are 2 things I couldn't sort it out (waiting dev's response to one of my queries):
- can't center any images (if they aren't exactly the given size in back-end)
- 2 or more galleries in the same page could cause some conflict (even disabling jquery on the 2nd and so on modules, since the 1st already calls it)
Overall, it's oustanding, thanks for the great module!

I installed this on my new site after spending hours in searching something simple and working out of the box. This extension really does.
I had a little issue with this module working on chrome and ie6. But after a word to the developer he instantly send me an e-mail with the proper files and then it worked perfectly.
