This is a wonderfully simple but very effective module to alternate between different (header) images for items and categories on your website. Have been using it for a few sites and does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Many thanks to the developer for providing this to the community! Great work and a big thanks!

This module did exactly what I needed it to and only took a few minutes to configure. The on-screen instructions are a nice touch!

I was creating a different hero image for every page using the custom HTML module when I found this. Really nicely built and super easy to understand, configure and use. I had it up and running on my site literally in 2 minutes! It's the perfect solution I was hoping to find... Bravo!

I used to hack the menu entry to get header image done. Now I don't need to. This module rocks.

Nice product. I love it.
However I am not able to change font style(size, color)in FLDIVCONTENTMODE box.
I needed to modify the helper.php code directly.

This is a very well thought-out extension. Andre, the developer, knows what he is doing. It's easy to set up and install, with lots of nice parameters and advance parameters.

Also great is you can set your image as a background image if you want. That is really cool!

And, keep in mind, you don't have to use this only for headers. You can use it for any image where you would like the flexibility (such as easily making your image a background image) that Flexheader3 provides.

Bravo to Andre.

Thanks so much for this module -- I needed a way to put a different header image on sub-sections in my site, and this handles it perfectly. Thank you again!

I've installed and compared several components and this component is by far the best one I've used.

This installation and configuration was easy and it works perfectly. Also the debug-window which show you the names for the page, sections, categories is great.

I highly recommend you to try this component. You won't be disappointed!

Keep up the good work!

I've spent hours looking for something that did exactly what this little extension does. I encountered a small problem in the beginning, but it was easily resolved after I contacted the developer and he responded promptly to my question.

I love this extension! Thanks for putting it together!

I would suggest to update the documentation and make it specific for Flexheader3, instead of 2. Other than that, flawless.

This is just what I was looking for. I needed to be able to show a different header image for each page on my site as well as a flash header for the homepage. I was able to do all of this with this extension.

The only thing I can think of that would make this better and 100% perfect is if it could display several photos in a rotating sideshow fashion.

Verry easy to install and configure.
Really good job and many thanks here.

But i have one question.
You can hyperlink the image but can you also make it that when people click on the image it will open in a new window ?

But again i LOVE this module

Thank's for the extension !

It installed painlessly, and within five minutes I was rotating two Flash banners in a module position. Nice one!

My only gripe is that the module doesn't Validate when Flash content is used. I use Flash content a lot, so I realise how difficult it is to get it to validate, but it's definitely possible, using the Flash Satay method or similar. Minor detail, I know, but some people take their validation seriously... (a bit too seriously, some would say.)

My problem is, that i do not know posibilties to load flash in all browsers without breaking the xhtml. I searched for a solution over the web, but most sites say: You have to use that buggy methods to support all browsers. If you know methods and sites, that can load flash without breaking xhtml > please write me an email. Thank you very much.

The FlexHeader3 beta module installed without issues on J1.5.10. It displays a specific header image or flash depending on several factors including the menu entry, parent menu item current category, current section or current component.
The innovation here is that the module displays overlays debug info in the front end that tells you what to name the image so that it will work on that particular page. This makes it easy to match images to particular pages. There is an option for a default image.
The header images must be all be the same size as the size is specified within the module. There is support for multiple modules that I have not tried.
I have not tried the advanced features include DIVs and Joomfish support. VM support requires a license for ShopHeader but there is no info or price for this option. The developer website has good docs for FlexHeader2 which looks very similar to the beta I installed.

Flexheader3 now includes the VirtueMart Support for free.
