I have been using galleries on Joomla web sites for 5 years and Jwallpapers takes the prize for functionality and versatility. It is the only gallery I trust with frontend uploading and the support has been first class. If an issue comes up and the creator fixes it QUICK! His instructions are easy to understand and the community forum is active.

After testing some of the top listed galleries I found this gallery. In one word: Great!
Also the support on their forum is great. I don't agree with the other comments, I think the module is ready and perfect. You have so many options and the integration with Jomsocial is also great.
It is a commercial extension, but they only ask a little comparing with other commercial extension. For me it was worth it!

Just to tell that i have no regret buying this component wich certainly become better better with the time.Simply powerfull and a very good support from the author.

I am using this application on my site for a year making sponsored photo contests. I have to say that the author of the JWallpapers is really making a big effort to help the users of his application who have problems and need help in customisation of the component. Although the application is not yet perfect it is doing a great job to me and I hope that when the new release comes out, all of the small things that are not yet perfect will be corrected. Anyway 5 stars for the component and 10 stars for the support from the author! Keep up the good work!
Truly an amazing product! I have a large wallpaper based website and was looking for a scalable solution. Found Jwallpapers and havent looked back. Their bulk upload feature allows my customers to upload large amounts of wallpapers for me with little fuss, and the support is out of this world! Quick to answer questions on the forum, and willing to help! I have never purchased an extension before, and this was my first experience, and it was a great one! Best money I have spent in a long time!
JWallpapers is a great looking photo gallery with excellent support. My problem with the installation of JWallpapers was fixed by Arunas personally within a week, and the program is an excellent extension for our website.
Loved the simplicity of the component, yet it is actually quite sophisticated! Works in minutes and very easy to set up and customise. There are plenty of backend options to suit anyone's needs. Unlike with K2 for example, where article images need to be annoyingly re-uploaded if you want to change their sizes, here you just press a button and all resizes are re-generated on the fly the first time they are requested on the site.
An additional module to show editors picks, random images or most popular is useful to show images anywhere in the site. Also very search engine friendly, gave my site a big boost in rankings, especially when image descriptions and tags are being utilised.
Level of support is excellent too, which is always a big bonus! Highly recommended!

I used JWallpapers with the Virtuemart plugin for my latest project. Which was a Photographers site that sells images. It works very well and my client finds it very easy to use. I posted two questions on the support forum and got replies from the developer very promptly. This is one of the best Joomla extensions available.
This is an Excellent extension!! The front end looks great and the backend is so easy to configure.
Looking forward to the upcoming version that will allow for "yes" vote, instead of the 5 star system.

This is exactly what I needed for my project. Easy to use and customize. That it came with a full Facebook integration closed the deal for me. The support I got while experiencing minor difficulties was amazing. Thumbs up!
I had some complications with my new joomla template I bought that but was not working well with jwallpaper. After submitting the problem the developer solved the problem within one hour for me. Even jwallpaper wasn't the cause of the problem the developer helped me fixed it and gave me good advice. Definitely worth the money and it looks and works like a charm!

- Frontend upload
- Moderation
- rating and jcomments integration
- jomsocial integration.
It does what it promises, and shines through it's prompt support from the developer himself!
Code is clean, which allows you to easily customise it. (be carefull planning this though, not to lose your customisations after an update).
I'd love to see some more specific search capabilities, such as searching by attributes.

I am using JWallpapers a little while now. I tried almost all photo gallery components, but all of them were not what I needed and searched for.
The support is excellent. Untill now I have raised 3 support tickets and all 3 of them were answered the same day and on all 3 occassions it solved the problems I was having.
There are still some enhancements to do, that is the only reason why I don't rate it excellent, but I am sure that in a little while it will become excellent! Keep up the good work!

I've used JWallpapers for almost a year on several of my sites. It was very good when I first started using it and I've enjoyed JWallpapers all along.
But the new version I just downloaded is really awesome. There's no doubt this is now my favorite Joomla Gallery by far! The multiple upload feature is powerful and works without a hitch. The UI is clean and classy; I really like how my site looks with JWallpapers on it. There are lots of configuration options. And everything is laid out so it's easy to find, easy to use.
And besides being a really good gallery, JWallpapers has an inexpensive add-on for doing Photo Contests! I think it's the only program in the JED that can do real Photo competitions (which goes beyond mere votes or ratings.)

This Joomla! extension JWallpapers is a very nice one and easy to install and configure. The developers support is great, with fast response and clear instructions on how to get the extension working! I highly recommend this extension because it does exactly what the developer tabled on this screen. Thanks ones more!
Thank you for a fantastic photo gallery! I love the layout and how all the photos lineup perfectly, and the flexibilty of the componet. A nice clean look (perfect) w/voting and facebook intregration. It's a great addition and looks/ works great on my site. I've already had complements on it! I had one small issue with photo caption and Support responded quickly to get me going.
Hi, you know before i brought these plugins i had a look around at how well you tried to help your customers with any problems and i all so said to my wife that you are a very rare breed in so much that it seems that your interested in ( A ) your products and ( B ) your customers.
