I'm using the Rs-simpSlide with Joomla 2.5 on a localhost. It was very easy to install and configure. It delivers what it says, a simple slide show on a module position. That was the only tricky part for me, figuring the right position. I have it running on a Artisteer template on position 20. Thanks!
This little module is perfect to add a little slideshow. I use it to show small thumbnails from several galleries. Easy to install and configure.
On my website I have added the option of recursing into subfolders in basic mode (all my galleries are organized in subfolders to a gallry folder), and the link is then used to point to my galleries category view.
I have sent the improved version to the authors. Hopefully they accept this improvement and make it official.

This extension does exactly what I wanted it to do, i.e. just rotate through some sponsors logos and provide a link to each sponsor. The extension allows for a simple mode, just drawing images from a specified folder and also an advanced mode which allows the user to specify individual images and configure parameters for each separate image. This extension allows the images to be different sizes, which another one I had used previously did not allow.
