So sorry it didn't work for you Alexander. I am currently rewriting this to use the Mootools files included in Joomla 1.6 to be more useful (due to be released as v2.0). The version currently available simply displays images and text in a table format, so I agree not as manageable and flexible as we'd like. Hopefully the next version will be more to your taste!

I have been using swmenupro for some years now. It took me a few minutes to get the tree menu looking like I wanted at first. But it es very flexible and I never had any problems. And it is very pretty.

At the beginning I had used the free version. It could do all I need. I changed to the commercial version because these guys have done a great job and deserve being paid for it.

Imported comments and subscriptions from CompoJoom with one click.
Minimal and very functional layout. Could optimize it with a few easy options settings.
Even works on my phone with mobile joomla! (I had a heck of a time trying to get CompoJoom work with mobile joomla - did not succeed)

This extension uses jQuery mobile. If you use several extensions, buy a mobile theme and turn on ajax then you will quickly have to learn a lot about jQuery mobile, javascript and CSS.
This tool helps you very well but getting jQuery mobile to work properly is definitely not klick and play!

very helpfull. updated 840 articles about one minute after downloading the extension. Wow!

Watch out: You have to change the number of datasets in the settings menu if you want to update more than 100 articles.

I donated 10 Euro for this great tool.

I habe been using this plugin for several years now. It is extremely useful, works without failure, keeps beeing developed further and best of all: Mike is extremely helpful if necessary - though in my case the problem was another extension's fault.

I first installed version 0.1.1. It had a bug and did not work on my site. In version 0.1.2 the bug has been eliminated.
It works very nice and is exactly what I had been looking for.

I've been using Pony Gallery for years. It has done a perfect job. Help in the forums is profeshional and astonishing quick.

I Just updated to JoomGallery 1.0 now. Hey, you can even show IPTC-Data now. Wow!
