I am using Course Manager (v1.5.5 rev 5) on my sail training website to enable customers to book and/or pay on-line. It performs very well and meets all my expectations. Installation was easy but understanding the system took a little time and experimentation (on a beta website).
Profinvent's forum is invaluable and my questions answered promptly.
I have been using Joomla for 2 years. I am not a programmer but can delve into and modify certain bits of code & language files to improve the visual effect. I spent some time to get the customer interface right before going live with this excellent component.
