GCalendar
Got excited but then was unable to find any details on their site that kept me excited.

I have been using Google Calendar in a wrapper for a while is this any different?

If I can not do anything with the calendar within Joomla I might as well use an iCal reader like iwebcal

iWebCal for Joomla
I have been monitoring iWebCal and many other calendering web "applications" for some time now and I have always been impressed by the style of this calendar. Simply slick!
Finally we have a great (ical)reader for Joomla.

iCal is the standard for calendar information exchange that has been around for some time now. Still there are very few web applications that work with it. Finally this year we seem to get some momentum now that Google is behind it.

The good
nice slick style that displays calendar information in the way we are used to.

the wish list
- the details in a calendar item do not pop up properly yet.
- the reload calendar file does not link properly
- some more parameters for example to create a link to subscribe, or to define the width, without menu, the cal name.

Excellent ! thank you

I never noticed the detail pop-up before; thanks for pointing this out! I'll collect the bug fixes and release an update soon.

gigCalendar
excelent!
Hope that future release will allow more customization to make it less gig-able.
(making suitable for all events)

Especially like the vCal and iCal - integration with 'mail' clients.
