Without the ability to add custom fields this module is rather limited. (Hackable, but at what point is it easier just to write my own module?)
Custom fields and a bit more control over layout, then you would really have something.
(Suggestion: load the off-screen images in background rather than waiting for them to rotate onto screen before loading. It will seem a lot faster. Currently a bit jerky on slow connections.)
Great potential.

Has great potential, but it's frustrating the animations are only available in the commercial version - and there is no way to yet to buy it as the author is still setting up payment arrangements. Please be quick :) I need this!
Wish list: Ability for the animation to rotate through all selected items, random or in order, if the number exceeds screen display space. (Might already be built-in to the commercial version, for all I know!)
Excellent module and can't wait for the animated version.

Having seen the glowing reviews below, I was a bit surprised at how much trouble I had.
For GOD'S sake, don't run it in test mode. I did. This seems to cause it to make continuous backups, one after another, which locked up the server to the point where it needed a manual reboot. Of course trying to get to the admin page to turn it off starts the whole process again. It took me five reboots to catch it. Agreed, there is a warning - but I wan't expecting a complete lock-up on a quiet server.
There is no easy way to force a second backup in any given day (for instance if you have just made a critical upload).
There is no easy way to restore the backup data. You are pretty much sent an SQL script and left to figure it out for yourself. Ok for me, but not a user-freindly tool for noobs.

Owner's reply
1. It can be restored via phpmyadmin in 1 click (import), cant be done more easy :o)
2. There are 2 lines when looking at the component site :
# configure email (dont touch anything else if you dont know what it is)
# Dont use testmode unless you know what you are doing (can crash site)
I think its say it clear :o)
