I use this for a few sites to have an image/calender and a few lines of intro text. On a mobile, the module re sizes to fit perfectly. After upgrade from Joomla 1.5 to 2.5 it still worked perfectly.

This newsletter system is very easy to use. Comes with templates for different newsletter styles. Option to send test newsletters so you can see what they look like once received. I upgraded from Joomla 1.5 to 2.5 and was easily able to migrate all users, newsletters and stats

I use this on all my sites. Easy to install and add the tracking code to. The version I was using for 1.5 didn't put the code in the head tag but the 2.5 version does.

This slideshow is very easy to use and setup - taking images from a folder so you don't need to list them in a component. The only drawback is if you wish to have the slider in an article then the slider cannot be in a table etc otherwise the responsive is gone. Otherwise great slideshow

VM2 is not easy to use

Unfortunatley, I found that Virtuemart 2 is not usable unless you are prepared to "hack" the code. VM1 was fine and easy to setup but VM2 has too many variables that are too complicated. A simple product discount has turned into a nightmare where you have to setup a separate record and then apply to the product. I have moved to MijoShop and find it much better and easier to use with no hacking necessary. I will continue to use VM as a catalog only.

Each person has their own goals when building a shop, and whilst we disagree the core needs to be hacked to get VirtueMart up and running each user has to decide what is best for their use. This is my first review but felt that it was thoroughly deserving and neccesary. After using virtuemart for several years I attempted to upgrade to virtuemart 2 and found nothing worked. The choice was to spend time hacking virtuemart or pay for a better product. I decided to try MijoShop and am so glad I did. I had the shop installed and virtuemart products and images migrated within a few hours. The only thing I need now is a shipping module for complicated shipping rates which I am confident I will find on the OpenCart extensions website. I had one query about coupons (which can be set for a certain product or category) and got a reply within 5 minutes. I would recommend this to anyone. Great extension. Great Support
