I had a bit of a problem with this extension so I registered and asked for help in the forum. The developer instantly replied and asked for my Skype ID. Once we were able to get in touch he figured out the issue immediately. Great support!

How can this component not have five stars all the way? Four and a half stars? Who left a negative review? Hm. I can't say anything about what the negative reviewer left, perhaps I'm a bad developer for downloading the latest version and leaving it at that instead of continuing to check up on my tech but.

I love this extension. Installs in minutes, enter your UA code and you're done. Done. It works.

This is a cool component. Like other commenters have said it does slow things down a little, but like the developers said it's not really an appreciable difference. The ability to customize your 404 page and suggest other, similar pages to viewers is invaluable! A component that allows this to happen is worth a few seconds extra loading time.

Two things that made me briefly nuts that I'd cue new users into. If you're making changes regarding links (like a linked photo gallery) clear the sh404sef cache or it will serve you up the old, cached pages without the changes. Secondly, if you get the following error:

Warning: file_get_contents(*your site path*/components/com_sh404sef/cache/shCacheContent.shlock) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in *your site path*/components/com_sh404sef/shCache.php on line 138

it will be fixed by changing the permissions on the /components/com_sh404sef/cache folder to 775. I didn't see anything about either of the "problems" I had in the literature and extensive searching brought me only one relevant link on the latter problem so I thought I'd share them here (in addition to the anything digital forum) to help out so that people can use and enjoy this great extension.

This is a great extension. It has pretty much always done exactly what we need it to do. Plus, if you need to or want to add something to it like mail or event registration, they've got another component that seamlessly integrates with it (RSMail, RSEvents). Of course, each of those costs more money, but that's to be expected.

I just wish that the support was easier to get to or to read. The -very few- times I've had issues the forums were little help (many people had the same questions I did and they were rarely answered) and a ticket submitted was once never answered and a second time was only glossed over and I was referred to the same FAQ that I'd mentioned didn't help me.

I would definitely say that this is well worth the cost of the extension and I wouldn't use anything else. If you do have a problem with the extension, don't search their forums, google search for your problem with "RSForm joomla" appended to it and you'll find your solution much quicker than waiting on them for help.

I love this plugin. I can't think of how many times I've wanted to put a module in an article. This does just what it says it does, doesn't poop on your other extensions and is super simple to use. If you ever need to put articles in modules, their Articles Anywhere works just as well as this one!

I LOVE this plugin. Love it. I'd downloaded these guys other plugin, modules anywhere and that was great, so when I needed to do the opposite thing and put one article of my choosing in a module position, this was the first extension I downloaded. Brilliant just like modules anywhere. It uses the same syntax (which is written down in the plugin under the plugin manager if you forget these things like I do) and it just works right out of the box. No configuring, no confusing set up. So easy!

I liked this module and it seemed to work until I added articles to the section I had it pull from. I got this error:

Notice: Undefined variable: intro in /var/www/clients/client2/web26/web/modules/mod_jxtc_news/mod_jxtc_news.php on line 142

I went to the support forum (very complete documentation, btw) and the troubleshooting documentation suggested I simply turn all error reporting off in the php.ini Um. Not a solution guys.
