JoomlaComment is a great extension. It has everything that I was looking for including the ability to let users be notified when new comments are posted.
The only problem I encountered was implementing the Spanish translation. When users were notified of new comments the emails would be in English and not in Spanish.

I solved this by re-translating the English file into Spanish. There was a part of the file that had not been translated.

Great extension, it now works great.
If anybody thinks that the completed translation would be helpful, I would love to make it available.

This is excellent, with clear instructions, easy to follow. I find this corner banner simpler than others, but what is even better is the fact that it just works.

I had a different corner banner, it looked really pretty but only worked in the front page.

The zip file comes with a component and a module. You can install the component only and create a menu item and you don´t need to use the module.

Although the download site is mostly in Italian, you can manage and download the whole thing.

This is a very simple blog, a nice addition to any website. I simply need it to keep my visitors updated.

Nice module, seems to do most of the job, however when an article has no images the module looks screwed up, if that could be solved (I do not want to disable images because many of the articles have images)the module would be great Maybe next release_

this application can really be useful, but if you change your mind (like I did), and try to unionist it you will find that you may run into serious issues.

Users to my site could not log out or in, and then even the admin. It could cause some serious problems to your site!

The application is very easy to use, and you can see where you can put your translations. Did not work for me though.

I have just registered to rate some of the great plugins I am finding, and this is one of them. It took me a little while to figure out exactly how it works, but it is just what I needed it. Now it will be very easy for authors to contribute their content to my site.
