Hockeyump
My only gripe is that even with a plugin to "force" opening external links in a new window the links open in a the same window effectively taking people away from your site. A simple checkbox to say whether to open in a new window or not would solve the problem and make the rating excellent.
I am using Phoca Maps 1.1.0 and this component is especially useful if you need to display more than one location as it allows you to either define multiple maps or place multiple markers on one map. It allows you to define the size of of the display of your maps as well.
Extraordinarily easy to use and difficult to believe that it is FREE. Thank you so much Jan for all your hard work
WHAT A FOOL I HAVE BEEN!!!!!
This is quite the best component in it's category and more than worth the price asked for. The PDF manual is very good and explains why and how each element works so you understand it rather than just having to guess. It gives and excellent site for providing an automatic process of updating so that you don't have go into the inner depth workings of your own control panel. The articles are then presented on your site just as you would expect them to be.
If all the sites I looked at had an RSS feed to their sports section, I would be completely out of a job. This has certainly cut down the amount of work I have to do.
Now all I have to do is convince journalists to actually use the name of the sport in their reports as some of them don't think that is needed!
I've used it to refresh a Twitter feed onto sports sites so I can provide a "Live commentary" facility and it works like a charm.
Well worth the $3 the developer is asking for it!
The only disappointment for me was that only one appointment per day can be booked although there is the ability to book different start times during the day. It would be great if a start time and end time could be booked or if default lengths of appointments could be set and if more than one booking a day could be made. It is only this shortfall that stops me giving it an excellent rating.
Hello,
Thank you for your comment. After launching the component, we got many nice and positive feedback from buyers with suggestions to improve its usability. We assure you that we will modify the component and re-launch it with improvisation of all the suggestions.
Thanks again for the positive comment :)
Best Regards,
One thing you aren't told is the icon should be 60x60 pixels.
True, I forgot. Really, the icon must be at least 57x57 pixels (png 24 bits for better quality). But any larger size will also be effective because iPhone makes it 57x57 px automatically.
Thanks for your review.
Wish list
Distances finder in Miles (this feature only works in the UK and Kilometers are a foreign concept for the UK)
Cloak email address and make it a clickable label "email"
Sub-categories - I said this is a wish list.
Specialised photo directory rather than the general images directory - would be nice if this could tie in to the user name.
A way of charging advertisers for ads would make this a perfect commercial product that I would happily pay for. It would be great to have a free version without being able to charge and a commercial version that does. You would need to be able to charge for renewals as well.
This is a brilliantly simple component to use. Thank you so much for it.
Thanks for the review. I'll look at implementing some of those features within a couple of weeks
Support is absolutely amazing and very helpful. Many thanks guys for an easy to install and easy to use product.
Dear, Hockeyump!
Thank you for using our product.
We are pleased to see the responses of our support.
We try to make the product even better.
Thanks again!

Had a small problem to start off with, but an instant response (considering time zone are involved) cured the problem completely (I am certain it is because the absolutely gorgeous Las Leonas were involved in my particular problem, but it was ver quick regardless - too quick for me to get the "y" in(",)
I surf 30 - 40 newspapers per day for relevant stories to mirror to my site (with permission from the authors) and this is going to cut down on my work load completely.
Gracias Mario
Wish list:
*An "actual date" dd-mm-yyyy trigger so that events can be entered weeks/months/years in advance
*A start time & date and end time & date for events that last longer than an hour or only last for a portion of an hour or even be a multi-day event. (ie a football game is 90 minutes long but if you only enter it as one event the last 30 minutes will not be displayed unless you create it as two events and then the 2nd hour reflects the game happening for 30 minutes while it is not. The Olympic Games is a 2 week event)
*Multiple simultaneous events with staggered start times. The Olympic Games has several simultaneous events that will start and end at various times within the hour. A suggested input format could be Date;Event1;Starttime1;Endtime1;Event2;starttime2;endtime2
I know the Bablefish translations frequently leave a lot to be desired, but something is better than nothing and this Module does for me. Now to find a place to put it on the site (",)
The layout of the jobs when presented on your site both in short and in detail is very clean and easy to look at and will leave a good impression of your company.
It didn't seem to work with the JoomlaFCK WYSIWYG editor, but by using the "paste text" button did the job. Changing back to the default editor sorted the problem out.
Only thing on my "Wish list" is for the Job title in the short description to link to the full job description.
There is a bulk upload facility that none of the others have. When uploading a single pic you can set all the information you like including captions and descriptions.
Displaying your galleries is as easy as putting a menu link to the component - nothing else needed even for adding new galleries which is perfect for a 14 year old. No fiddling about with content pages and mosimages
The control panel for this component is outstanding and as straight forward and easy to understand as the Joomla control panel.
It will even watermark your pictures with a copyright notice of your choice!
For those with big sites with many users you can limit the number of galleries and the number of photos each user can have.
Although I usually avoid Alpha products like the plague I am really glad I haven't done so this time.
An excellent rating doesn't even come close to describing how good this component is.
