I found this module worked straight away and was effective on my site. It has good presentation with a choice of styles available.
The only problem I have is that the display does not resize with the rest of the website, so when displayed on an Ipad (for example) the module projects beyond the edge of the page and appears awkward. I tried using settings for the module class suffix, including "_menu", but none seemed to affect the display in any way.

The module was easy to install and worked immediately. However, although the appearance of the module is quite attractive, it has a few unfortunate characteristics.
Firstly it seems to count robot hits which can swamp the count of real visitors. Secondly, national flags are not available for many countries and hence use the default "cross" option. United Kingdom visitors are flagged with the Ukrainian flag!
It would be worth tidying up these relatively minor irritations to make this in to a very useful module.

This component is an excellent piece of work. It works well and the general presentation is attractive. Its rather specialized nature (principally for photographers)may limit the number of users but that does not detract from a great piece of work.
I quickly discovered a few relatively trivial errors of detail that could easily be corrected but, at the time of writing this review, I have not had a response from the author. Being August, he may be on holiday or something. Nevertheless, the quality of the component is such that it must be worth the effort to tidy up the few remaining issues.
I wanted to run the component within an article and so used another extension to place it in an iframe. This worked to some extent but a few of the component's good features no longer operated correctly. I therefore had to return to calling the component directly in the normal way.
I also felt that the component would benefit from an optional field allowing introductory text to be added.
Finally, users are not allowed to change the credit and copyright statements at the bottom of the page. That seems fair enough but it is a shame the links have to remain in German when installing on an English website.

I purchased the full commercial version (for Joomla 1.5) mainly because I wanted the plugin, which is not included in the Lite version. Both the module and the plugin installed seamlessly and work well.
I used the carousel option which is very impressive.
The only issues I had were around understanding the plugin parameters, but the excellent and very fast support soon put me on the right track.
There is a case for drawing together all the instructions and details of the various parameters in to a single, easy-to-find location - although I understand this is currently being done.
This is an excellent extension in my opinion and deserves to be widely used. The support is also second to none!
Thank you!

I found this news scroller useful and elegant. It integrated well and seems to run smoothly. I chose it to get away from persistent Mootools conflicts with other extensions.
The only minor problem I found was that when using Google Translate, only the current news item is translated to the new language - then the news items revert to English (my site language).

I chose this extension to replace the standard Joomla polls module - which I had used for some years.
It installed easily and with no problems. The pie-chart graphics are very nicely executed and there are quite a few parameters to tailor the set-up to your own requirements.
One curious problem was that I could not make the extension work properly with Google Translate. The page translates in to a chosen language OK but did not return to English despite the rest of the page doing so. The options around the pie-charts do not translate at all.
There appears to be some conflict with Simple Mooticker, and there are minor typos in various menus, but I like the extension and will certainly continue to use it. Thank you to the author for making such good work available.

This module is fun to use on appropriate sites, and seems to install and work well. However, it could be improved by offering more flexibility for webmasters.
For instance, the button "About Us" is not particularly appropriate when embedded in my website because "Us" is MY website - not that of SEETA. A more modest hyperlink to SEETA might be better but, at very least it could be changed to "About SEETA".
Also, when installed in an article, the "Color Deducto" title appears three times on the page. On my website I have a policy of showing article titles and this module adds two more. It would be nice to be able to switch off a couple of them.
Finally, "Color" is a US spelling and in my case I would prefer to change it to the English "Colour" to align with spelling on the rest of the site. A minor point I suppose.
I understand that the whole game is "imported" from the SEETA site, but would it not be possible to create a second slightly adapted (or perhaps more adaptable) version for import in to other Joomla sites?

I installed this plugin on Joomla 1.5.22 and was delighted with the presentation of images it produced - surely one of the best if you love images. It is also very easy to install and set up. There was a slight full-screen problem with a new release of Cooliris, but Francesco got it fixed extremely quickly.
As mentioned in other reviews, this plugin is a must for any site presenting a significant number of images. The support is also first class - which is important.
Thank you
