This extension has potential, but the layout options are horrible and the way feeds are fetched is pretty bad (should be cron, but developer says in his forums he doesn't know how). Needs a lot of work, but at least it's free. I definitely wouldn't pay for it in its current state.

Good, but lacks server-side validation

The only reason why I'm marking this down is because there is basically no server-side validation (at least with version 2.1.8 and below), which is a big no-no. It relies solely on JavaScript validation, which is bad. JavaScript is good for simple validation before sending to the server, but should NEVER be the only line of defense. This is coding 101 and there's no excuse for not doing it.

There are a few bugs, but overall this extension is pretty good.

We had issues to the "Show" value always reverting back to 5, but it was an easy fix. Also, at least with our install, if you click a "Term begins with letter" after searching or clicking a letter previously, it just returns you to the beginning. The "show" number value issue was easy to fix. Haven't fixed the other issue yet.

It would be nice if the developer had a support forum for their extensions, but I didn't see one.
