Great component, great support. Maybe some server need additional configuration, but always ask for support in the forum, take your logs and it will always work properly.

This is another example of a free extension working as good (and better...) as the commercial ones.
It is a little tricky to understand the help system, but once logged in onto the developer's site (http://www.blueflyingfish.com/noixacl/) everything goes. Easy to install, easy to configure and powerful features.
It grants the possibility to set access control over back end, also for single components, and this is a great feature for professional Joomla! powered websites.

Zaragoza content is very useful if you have many articles in many sections/categories and want to show several of them in one page with a blog layout.
It requires a bit of skills in html/php to customize the templates pages, but once you know waht (and where) to customize everything is ok.
This extension is truly simple and absolutely functional. It installs easely and works great. Only one thing: you must add a line of code (in the file view.php) to fix the "JHTMLicon not supported. File not found." warning. See the official site for details.
Hope some new Joomla version will have something like this integrated into the core.

This is what makes a good article a better article. This module works great and does what expected. Only one concern about a little slowdown of the loading time of the page.

A must have if you want a quick related content by author. Really useful the filtering of sections and categories. It works perfectly and the customization of the template is easy. Would be really perfect if working as module too.

Advanced Module Manager
Often we all find some free extension which would have to be included in the core installation of Joomla! This is one of them. It makes simpler show and hide components in various section/categories. Combined with metamod it makes Joomla very flexible.

This is the best tab module I've tried. No problems with all the browsers, exelent and fast support and a perfect integration in all templates.
I decided to pay for this extension after trying all of the other, wich presented some minor issues.
If you're developing a professional site this is the choice you must take.

CB Contact Book and Profile Calendar
This is a good extension, works as described and the support is good (I had some questions after istallation and the developer answered in time).
Works as described. Note that if you want to provide the user to add event to the calendar you must add a menu item.
Some problems if you want to edit the aspect of the calendar. It's quite hard to customize. It uses tables.
It's a good choice if you want to add interactivity and useful items to CB profiles.
