After downloading and installing I was frankly disappointed with where the package placed the chat box on the page display. It just took over the right third of the page without regard to what content it covered up. I took the time to fully explain to John my disappointment. To my surprise we engaged in a back and forth of wish list and practical capability of his package and what JOOMLA! modules can do.

Within 30 hours I was sent a new version by email with a request that I try it out and give suggestions. It's not perfect yet, but I can now place the chat box any place on the page using JOOMLA! modules or the LoadPosition call. VERY impressed that John took the time to listen, understand my dilemma, and then accommodate my needs.

FIVE STARS for effort and attitude!!!

I simply can't believe this extension comes without any fee. I figured that if only one or two extensions for a particular task were available that it probably wasn't very capable. I couldn't have been more wrong.

Niels has created a super tool for anyone that wants to add an interactive family tree to their site. I am very happy to find more and more features each time I log into it and add names. The photo slide show is a very nice compliment to the package.

The support from the forum is not only quick and helpful, but Niels answers questions with obvious enthusiasm and pride for his work. THANK YOU, Niels you have a fine product.

I have read most of the reviews, and for the most part find the bulk of the negative statements wrong. The interface DOES use JOOMLA! permissions, DOES what it says it will, and CAN be up and running on a site within a few minutes.

The 'Lack of Documentation' isn't quite what most think. Everything a user needs is there - just watch the video tutorials and pay close attention. Most of us expect something detailed in our native language and, certainly, you won't find that here. But what is there actually does explain how to get results.

I'm happy with it and have found nothing to give me any doubts that it is worth the price he asks.

ExtendedReg
If you get a reasonable number of modules the cost of support runs about $100 for six month. For that kind of cash I expect to at least get decent documentation. The ExtendedPages module has NO document AT ALL.

Yes, the knowledge base available through the forum is extensive, but you better know exactly how to phrase your search. And you should also know some basic PHP and MySQL.

It's good, but it's not easy.

Thank you for your feed back. Unfortunately none of your review is very accurate. Extendedreg DOES have complete documentation. Extendedpages is documented directly in the admin panel. It requires absolutely no php or MySQL from the user part.
It does give you the ability to modify the HTML output to better suite your needs
