A good and simple classifieds extension.

I really like this extension, it's simple to use front and back end, it looks good, flows well, is not too difficult to adjust to fit in with your own tastes and it has a great menu system that can be set up in minutes with images. It's a good little working classifieds that actually works. My ONLY big problem is that users must be logged in to use the contact form in order to contact the advertiser SO does restrict the use a bit and my only small gripe is that the menu chooser has suffixes of (0)£ after each category in the list which looks ugly when using the software for free ads so just a couple more user friendly options regarding free or paid adverts and the logged in only contact form thing resolved would make me very impressed.

I was very excited when I saw the demo version as it seemed to be everything I needed in a classifieds component, but after downloading and installing the component I found it difficult to even change the default country, region, add new regions and areas etc, the ads are not showing properly and I keep receiving error messages after trying to save changes. It has a lot of issues I think.

Don't get me wrong, I love the look of this classifieds software and I hope the developers continue to push hard to complete this to a stable version as I would certainly use this component if it were stable and functional, hopefully this will not be too long as I do not want to install another classifieds component yet.
My rating has to be average right now but working it would be excellent in my opinion.

I have given this component an excellent rating because I set the parameters in seconds and tested the registration blocker which worked immediately with no fuss so anyone who should not be registering on your site will simply not know why they can't register and move on.

I have been receiving a lot of problems from .ru email registrations and have now blocked any email from .ru.

This appears to be perfect for blocking country specific emails before your site even starts to get spammed by these people, ip addresses can be blocked, usernames etc. Highly recommended and a plugin that you will probably forget about untill you need it to add another block.
