After two years of using Joomla 1.5 next to Wordpress, I was searching for a blog-component similar to Wordpress (version 3.04).
During my search I found LyftenBloggie. After the installation I was a little surprised. It looks quite a bit like wordpress and is as easy to handle as wordpress is. I felt quite familiar with the backend interface and it has 4 nice looking themes comeing with. Furthermore it has all necessary features a blog needs.
What I am missing is an import/export function to save only the things like tags, kategories and entries without saving the hole database. It would be really nice if it would be possible (in a future version) to import from or to wordpress or at least to a proprietary file. The possibility to link an entry to multiple kategories would also be good.
So I can say it's a good working component if you want to have a blog on your site.
