I can't seem to able to turn off the e-mail availability function. No matter whether I choose 'yes' or 'no', it still requires the submitters' e-mail address!! Further more, maybe it's a good thing to let this extension have its own styling availabilities. Some templates are just not made to be compatible ;) Other than that, it's a very nice extension! Keep it up!!

Hey Meseko,

Sorry you've experienced an issue with the extension I haven't had any others report problems with the email validation. For future reference technical support questions should be posted on the developers website. This allows the developer to reply and help get the problem fixed.

With regards to your comment of styling, this is something that is supported. You can disable the CSS that comes with the extension through the component parameters allowing you to customise the styles through your template.

Good idea but not so well executed...

First of all it's not W3C-valid, actually a lot of errors... Don't understand where I can get hold of an upgrade (bug fixes and such). I like the idea though where you can choose from different sections, categories or even authors.

I am sorry you were unhappy with some aspects Total RSS. There is no claim anywhere that the code is W3C-valid. If you purchased the software from my site (http://webdesignhero.com/store/) the fourth menu tab at the top links you to the contact/support ticket system, which many people have successfully used to contact me. Please feel free to contact me and I will try to help you with any changes that you would like to make in order to make it validate to your preferred doctype, most likely a few minor tweaks to tags (though its open-source and MVC so feel free to make any tweaks you would like). No one has asked me about validation in the past so it was never evaluated, but I will look into updating this if there is further demand.

This is a really good module for those who don't want to create a bunch of menu-modules and/or perhaps control different levels for each menu-module.

There's just one problem though... if I unpublish one of the menu sub items, it still shows in the module, hence... you can still get access to an unpublished item!

Otherwise, great work!!

Yes there was a problem, showing unpublished sub items in the list. Now I solved that problem and uploaded a new release to http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/mod_subitems/frs.
