I had to look for another forecast module since Google seems to have changed their API which worked well with JV Google Weather module, but doesn't work anymore.
SP Weather is a very good replacement module and the Yahoo weather feed works well. It also looks easy to customise the layout to embed a 4 day forecast in my header position.
Thanks to SP for coming to the rescue.

I decided to build a family tree site with Joomla 1.6 to make use of its ACL feature. Joaktree is the ideal component to compliment this. Getting your GEDCOM file set up takes a bit of care, but the documentation is very good and detailed.
I particularly like the way you can integrate custom articles with your tree members. I had a query about article linking, and the developer answered back in hours with a solution. You rarely see this response with commercial support.
I have no hestitation in recommending this excellent component.

I tried other message pop ups before getting my customer to buy this one. Totally fits the needs to get the key message across.
I particularly like the use of a cookie to show it once a session, rather than popping up on every page change.
The documention is pretty sparse but I was able to figure out how to make it do what I wanted without much grief.
I haven't tried out all the media features yet, but I have no hestitation in recommending this plugin.
