N6REJ
Hi N6REJ, sorry you are not happy with the module. Due to your and other people's feedback, we will be remaking the module with features that it lacks like timezone settings, choice of digital or analogue and more. Feel free to give any further suggestions in our forum.
Sorry for the bad review.
Don't worry about a bad review, if joomla 1.6+ or 1.7+ does the same natively, please tell me how!!!
This is the ONLY forum currently supporting conversion from ccboard! wtg guys.
The reason we aren't supporting other editors is because of the security problems involved in giving public access to things like file uploads, javascript, flash uploads and so on. Doing so would get your site hacked within days if not hours.
No other forum allows external editors (as far as I know anyway), for the same reasons.
This of course makes reply's and followups completely impossible. Styling is not consistent through ( front page doesn't even remotely match ticket page )
keeps separate joomla user and huru user tables, ergo requiring sync plug-in.
This seems to be more of a bridge then anything.
Being able to enter any username is a feature for use by internal support teams that allows them to put in the names of users who call in tickets. It can be turned off or on based on the permissions of the user entering the case.
Separate Huru and Joomla user tables are necessary to allow detailed helpdesk permissions to be set for each user without modifying the Joomla core user table.
Hello N6REJ,
The chatbox has to appear in front of all the menu items, how can anyone chat if it becomes inconspicuous.
And about the status, it updates every 5 seconds, You can even change that to 1 second, so that should not be a problem.
Keep up the awesome work.. Recommending it to everyone
Modul is joomla 1.5 "LEGACY"
Login to Joomla! 1.5 Site Administrator panel (http://www.domain.com/administrator).
Mouse over Extensions in the main horizontal menu, then click on Plugin Manager.
Joomla Plugin Manager
Locate plugin named System - Legacy, and then click on the check box in front of it.
Click on Enable button.
Enable Joomla 1.5 Legacy Mode
Ensure that Legacy: 1.0 status appears on the top right corner, and the Enabled column for “System - Legacy” is ticked. The Legacy Mode has been enabled.
Wonder what your initial idea was?
Mine is to include a user access-right management into the plugin, thus depending on the entered passphrase different access-levels are granted.
Also a simple trouble ticket integration would be good that way things don't have to be duplicated.
All in all an excellent start. Lets not stop here though please!
