When I first tried yvComment on a site, I didn't particularly like it, but felt that it was the best choice of all the Free Commenting Evils. It did some things I didn't want it to do, didn't do some things I wanted it to, but overall it was a better fit than the others. I resigned myself to overlook its flaws and go with it.
On the second site I built, I started to look around for a good commenting system again. I tried them all out again, and found myself with the last option once more: yvComment.
For a moment, I almost decided to buy a commercial product and test it, but I decided to give yvComment one more go-round, as it had been updated within the last week. I'm glad I tried it again.
The latest incarnation of yvComment shook out what I perceived as the software's flaws, and it is now rock solid and beautiful. You have a good selection of templates, the comments do not appear as articles, and there's a new management section back-end.
I love it! Great work, Yuri!

This is the BBS that I've been waiting years for. It is elegant, easy-to-use and it grows more powerful each passing day. The support community is growing, and there are some extremely helpful & talented people there. The developer, despite being the lone gunman on an enormous project, is quickly implementing the feature requests of the community while working toward release stabilization. There is no doubt that this board will quickly become the standard for Joomla sites. If you haven't been watching this board in development, do yourself a favor and give it a try. It is still Beta and is unrecommended on a live site, but the developer is getting closer and closer to a stable release!

This plugin is so close to perfection. It would have been exactly what I needed except that it appeared after every article on the homepage. The find/replace string needs to changed to something that only displays on the Article view, and not at the end of every article with Read More or without. The problem this creates is that people believe they are bookmarking the article but are really bookmarking the Home page. When/If this issue is resolved, I'll be the first in line to give it a second try.

Hello Nomnom,
I think you got it wrong. Even if it is on the home page, it submits the right article and not the homepage URL.
Try to submit any article from the home page.

This module makes for a gorgeous rotating header on my site. The ability to copy the module and use it elsewhere on the same page is great. The many options allow you significant control over the presentation, and even if you don't want to fiddle with them, the default controls produce fantastic results. Great work!
