Simple RSS Feed Reader
This is the best of the rss readers that work in joomla 3.0. so far. Much better than joomla's default rss module.

Mootools Enabler/Disabler
My pages averaged roughly 600 or 700k. Just on a lark I installed this plug in. There was a menu that needed mootools but after switching back to the default Joomla menu, now my pages average around 200k or so.

It's a nice looking comment form and has many features but it will devastate your site in terms of seo. Even though it looks sharp, I uninstalled it the moment I ran pagespeed and yslow. If seo is not an issue then this is a very attractive comment form.

Thank you very much for the compliments and feedback! We have addressed this issue internally and we'll be posting an update shortly to address this :)

Expires Headers
It's only a few points on yslow total score , still it helps on google.

A person does have to spend some time figuring out conflicts or problems with merged files, etc, but if you put a little effort and time into it, this is probably the best "speed up your site" tool.

One comment though. The author says it is not really needed in 2.5 becaude you can edit a template file, though it seems that when you update to a new version then you have to re edit the file. The plugin saves you from having to do that after each new Joomla release.
Owner's reply

That is very true! Any template that is a candidate for an online update will lose any modifications, such as the one described above. For those who roll-their-own templates though, it's a lighter solution than my plugin.

Matic menu
I've tried half a dozen or so menu systems and this is the best so far. It doesn't mess up the website score on Google insight or yslow.

Accordeon Menu CK
Gasoline is too expensive. But no complaints with this menu. I've been trying for several days to find a free menu that collapses and doesn't cause problems with my Joomla. This accordian menu is the top of the best.

Got it working in about a minute and it looks nice. Definitely better than I expected. Only criticisms a) when it installs it says "for joomla 1.5 and 1.7" (but is listed for and seems to work fine in 2.5). Also, the phrase "Tell us what do you think" is kind of weak English.

I had hesitated to use this on Joomla 2.5 with Beez20 because of the reviews. I downloaded several other menu modules and could not get any of them to work. So I downloaded this and got a working drop down menu in about 5 minutes. Great extension.
