My client wanted a booking management system for his apartment rental that had a calendar showing availability and a booking enquiry form that would automatically show pending bookings on the calendar until confirmed so no double bookings can be made and this component delivers all that in a very intuitive way.
The backend admin cp automatically logs booking enquiry details so all you need to do is confirm the booking.

I had a small issue in setting it up and emailed the developer and he replied within minutes with the solution. Very reassuring when paying for extensions to know how well the product is supported.

First off this newsletter was easy to install and seemed to be doing its job well. Since updating to 1.0.5 the newsletters are arriving half complete.
Images not showing and links not working.
Very frustrating.

Now looking for something new

I tried most of the snowing on site plugins and ended up using this one.
It has different size snow flakes but not too big and doesnt seem to slow the site down too much like the others do.
There are a few options you can configure like size of flakes and amount which is handy for those who like to play with settings.
I'd of given it full marks but it only snows on the top half of my site, when I scroll down it stops. No big problem really.

Very nice addon to my site that allows brief snippets of news to be displayed in a selection of different frames or no frame. Simple easy to use and with the option to set width & height making it easy to place in any module position.

I think this is a very cool plugin Thanks to the Developer.

Had a problem with the images not showing but an email to the dev that was replied to within a few mins solved the problem. (some servers do not allow apache to write to a folder)
The fix if the explosions don't show is:
upzip the plugin and manually upload the "fireworks" folder to plugins/system/fireworks

This forum intergrates very nicely into a joomla site. Very easy to install and setup but lacks templates. There is an option to use your joomla css but it looked awful on my site so I'm stuck with the basic template. Not a big deal really but would prefer a very dark look to match the site.
I'd still highly recommend this forum though.

Works very well and is easy to use I'd recommend this to anyone wanting youtube video on their site.

I installed this on 3 of my sites and only managed to get the captcha to work on 1. The 1 it did work on I put ssl on it and this caused ssl warnings on the reg screen. I disabled the captcha which stopped the ssl warning as it no longer looked for outside url's. Started getting loads of dodgy registrations on the site so I enabled captcha again but this time it didn't show. So it's back to looking for a new reg system. Tried the forum but no one replied to my post or many of the other posts there.
If it works out of the box its great but if you have problems get rid of it.

I've tried quite a few galleries and there are some very good ones but the options available in this one far surpass the others.
Installation was easy and so was an update to the software. I had to edit nothing to get it working just spend a bit of time learning what all the options did before going live on site.
Also has a module that shows slideshows or thumb size images…so many cool options.

I voted low because unlike most of the joomla extensions this is not easy to setup. There are lots of support docs to read but none actually helped that much.
In the end I gave up and used the google module.
When I eventually decided not to use this and uninstalled it the site went blank and all I was able to see was the backend admin part. Took a while to figure out how to restore the site and its this that prompted me to write a review.

Looks great but needs an expert to get it to work.
I think if they offered to setup for you then it would be the best way to go about translating your site.

I was hoping to use this as a navigation menu but without much support available and no options to increase the size except by having a giant module taking up most of the front page, it seems like I paid €9 for loads of very good icons.
It does work but probably not how you want it too.
Save your money!

Very impressed with LGSL...You probably will need to visit the forum for advice on the ports but it is well supported by the dev and members on the greycube forum.

If you run gaming servers this is a must have.
It shows what map/track is running on our server, how many people on the server and even allows with one click to join our servers
