IP Login
I like the additional security of Admin Tools' administrator access protector... unfortunately that makes logging in double the work.

This extension is a huge time saver. Just use the URL Access Key from your usual IP address, and voila.

You'll never get locked out either since it's just a shortcut. You can still access your site from your favorite coffee shop without any trouble.

Modals
I've used the free version on a few projects over the years. It's very easy to use little plugin and I've had great free, friendly forum support.

I wish Inline Content was one of the free features like with Tabs and Sliders.

As soon as I find a project that requires it, I'm definitely going to Go Pro. That Gallery Slideshow is beautiful!

Akeeba Subscriptions
Don't waste your time with the others, this is amazing, inexpensive (if not free), and simple to use.

The amount of features you get is unreal (seriously where does Nic get the time). It's fully loaded and ready to go out of the box with little configuration.

I recommend this to anyone building a news site.

Content Templater
A newspaper or magazine that may have a different format for different sections can get a lot of use out of this. Saves a lot of time, easy to use, 5 stars all the way.

Sliders
There are a lot of great uses for this one. It's not just for sectioning content, you can also use it to hide boring content below everything else (like legal info you may be required to place).

It's handy, simple, easy to customize and very reliable.

Tabs
This makes Tabbing content within an article or module incredibly simple. Changing the CSS is also a breeze.

Nothing more to say, it's just awesome.

NoNumber Extension Manager
I think if every extension looked as nice as this and worked as reliably Joomla's reputation would be unparalleled.

Every extension maker should hold themselves to NoNumber's standard.

This is one of the first extensions I install on every new website. No matter what the site, I know I'll use one or more NoNumber extensions, and this makes installing and updating each a pleasant process.

SEBLOD
Years ago I met Saba on a JUG, and he told me all about Seblod. I didn't get it. I figured it was just another K2.

It's so much more. It allows for the total conversion of your Joomla platform, making it ideal for commercial use.

There is a lot to learn with this CCK / App Builder. It's not for any novice, but you don't have to be an expert programmer to work with it.

The ability to build completely unique custom content types for a variety of clients makes this the most valuable extension available for Joomla! Best of all you can keep the core content models as an option for flexibility.

I'm currently working on two huge projects I wouldn't dream of doing without Seblod. A Client-Side Auction Site and a Customer Resource Manager.

The only drawback is the community isn't active enough, there's not much support from the mods, and they don't share Apps on the Seblod website (such as Forum or Ecommerce).

On the other hand, you can find great documentation and tutorials just by googling.

My only question at this stage... how is Seblod supposed to be pronounced?

JO Facebook Events
It's a bit tricky to get this working because Facebook has about a really crazy system...

But Bach Pham over at JoomCore responded immediately to question on the forum, and then through email. He got it working and answered all my questions.

It works as advertised. Facebook Page events are now ported into my client's website which saves her the time and confusion of using a separate event component.
